I'm really happy to see people win and i hope i don't sound selfish but i wish it was me too.
Been comping now for nearly 12 months and have had 2 small wins (hand cream & hair removal wax) which i am grateful for, don't get me wrong, but i enter hundreds and don't seem to get anywhere.
All i get is an inbox full of emails, and not winning ones
I would be grateful for any encouragement and advice please.
Thank you.

Well I don't think anyone is going to call you selfish at all. It's understandable to be disappointed when your entering so many comps for so long and find your not winning much at all, compared to the effort being put it.
I remember earlier on in the year, I had been comping constantly for 3 months without a single win and I mean atleast 6 hours per day.
It just comes down to pure luck and that's all it is. Obviously the more you enter can help with the wins but I tend not to take it seriously anymore and it's more enjoyable this way
My advice would be to take a little break from it and come back in a week or two with an attitude of 'if I win then great, but if I don't then oh well, on to the next'
It's more of a hobby for me now and I tend to enjoy it, so winning is just a big bonus!
Anyway, good luck.. I'm sure luck will be on your side soonHuge thank you to all posters on the comps board!0 -

I use Roboform and to be honest, I couldn't tell you what competitions I have entered, I just work my way through the comp list while I am watching tv!! If nothing else, it keeps me from online shopping! Don't give up, just remember its a hobby!January GC: £64.81/£80.00
February GC: £24.60£80.000 -
:Ddon't give up
if you enter every competetion on the list then your bound to win. I do put in ALOT of effort but i just do it while watching TV or listening to music ... plus i have roboform so can do it faster.
Also if your short on time ..you can enter every comp ending the next day by making sure you use the end date view to make sure you don't miss any comps.
good luckWon some amazing prizes in the past 2 years :j
THANKYOU TO EVERYONE THAT POSTS!!!0 -
Thank you for the kind words, can i ask what roboform is please?
Thanks xx0 -
I don't blame you for feeling fed up, I think in your position I would have taken a break a long time ago.
There has been a big influx of people comping recently so the odds are lower, but I find most of my wins are ones that are from effort comps. The majority wont enter anything that has effort in the title and quite often you will need to think of a name, sub,mit a photo, caption, drawing, design etc. I think these are good ones to go for, my best wins have been from effort comps and it breaks up the form filing with something fun.
If you are spending several hours and not winning you could look into doing surveys and reviews, it doesn't take up as much time and often on other threads people can easily be making an extra £200 a month doing this, it's about the same effort but you will have extra cash in your poket each month for your efforts.
Good luckComping wishlist for 2017
