    Not sure you can freeze coleslaw as it will go all slushy when you thaw it through. However, I'd recommend you ignore the Use By date. If you keep it in the fridge and it still looks and tastes edible, most people would recommend that you go on eating it. I've kept stuff like this well past the recommended date and it's been fine.

  • What about the carribean chicken recipe that some folks here cook in their slow cookers? I have not tried it yet but I always think "Yum!" when I see someone is cooking it.

  • I sometimes make what I call Dhansak - meat curry with red lentils and some pineaple pieces. I just sort of make up the recipe as I go along but I am sure there are recipes out there on the web.

    pineapple and peach sorbet! yummy! and you can use the syrup in the tins too!
    just use a standard sorbet recipe. for adults add a shot of liquer.
