People kicking up a fuss about someone selling a stand on ebay check out auction 290069240924

Someone is selling 3 stands starting price of £33.33 but I bet no-one dares to kick up a fuss as the seller is saying the will give 15% to charity even though the seller will be keeping 85% percent of the profits

Wonder if anyone will get on their high horse to give them abuse and ruin their auction? my guess is notjust because they decent to give 15% percent to charity

(Could anyone help me with regards to the legal side of them trying to get me to sign a return recipt when I had already paid and had a store reciept that they took from me? They said the then gave me it as goodwill but surely it was legally mine and them trying to make me sign somwthing statin I wanted to return it as an unwanted gift (LIES) is very very wrong no jst morally but legally too? jst for my letter)

Sorry - I don't think whether they are giving any money to charity macks any diffrence or not - the point is the same. Genuine people have been deprived to benefit the greed of others. In my view, unless you need one of these things, 1p is overpriced - I hope the ebay sellers get stuck with them ! :rotfl:

Not 100% sure but with you signing the bit of paper and them taking your receipt I think you have lost some rights but better checking with trading standards as they are very helpful. Try and find out who the head person of Currys (DSG Retail) and fire a complaint off to them

Think this may be the head office address

    DSG Retail limited
    Meylands Avenue
    Hemel Hempstead
    Herts

Look, there is nothing wrong with selling these stands on Ebay. There are alot of people on here that did and some still are taking advantage of the free sim cards as I did, then sell them on to shops, Ebay, car boots sales etc.
All I hope is the Ebay seller does give the 15% to whoever he decides at the end of the auction.
    Happy bidding:p .

I suppose your right.. me naming the store doesnt change the way I was treated.

I called my mum n told her and she said when she was in buying a cooker 2 mnths ago.. an older man was trying to return something and the same manager was shouting and bawling at him telling him to leave

Reducing a female to tears and shouting and bawling at an elderly man. If thats how this Currys manager carries on this definately needs bringing to the attention of Head Office.

For me it is against the etos of this site - this is about moneysaving not profettering - I for one wil not post any bargains I find publically on this site and others will probably do the same.

Reading through the posts I found one person questioning the legality of a distributer of an item threatening them with legal action if they sold it on ebay - they clearly stated that they'd bought it in the US with the intention of selling it on eBay - bet they told the customs that when they brought it in.

Strange isn't it. You would have thought that they would have "fixed" their website by now!
