Did you quote him the 4th bullet point on the print out confirmation ?

THE PRICE YOU PAY IS THE PRICE SHOWN ON THE WEBSITE, EVEN IF IT IS CHEAPER THAN THE USUAL INSTORE PRICE

I did...and was handed the telephone number of their head office. He couldn't have cared less. I'll be using the number first thing on Monday morning, but have a feeling it's not going to get me anywhere. I only reserved one, and I need a TV stand!

For me it is against the etos of this site - this is about moneysaving not profettering - I for one wil not post any bargains I find publically on this site and others will probably do the same.

Reading through the posts I found one person questioning the legality of a distributer of an item threatening them with legal action if they sold it on ebay - they clearly stated that they'd bought it in the US with the intention of selling it on eBay - bet they told the customs that when they brought it in.
OK, you might have a point, but then who's to say the Ebay seller seen it on this site? Also how do you know he didn't get it free with a tv and didn't need it?. He didn't seem to be selling loads of them and none of the other sales looked the same.

Why don't you get onto your local paper and see if they will do a story on it - you could call Currys Rogue Traders and say had every opportunity to call/e mail you to save you wasting your time & fuel.

I'm happy to have got mine as I always find Currys/PC World/ Dixons a slimey rip off bunch and will only buy as a matter of last resort or if its a cracking deal. They might be heading down the pan they've just shut down all of their short lived Link stores

Dont worry I will be taking it as far and as high as I can. Now I have calmed down and can see it more clearly.. i'm even more shocked if that makes sense lol

whats the best way to complain against the manager an email to customer service or a letter?
I have enough money to last me the rest of my life, unless I buy something

I'll be going for all 3.. Phone, letter & email.

    Speak to trading standards aswell.

I suppose your right.. me naming the store doesnt change the way I was treated.

I called my mum n told her and she said when she was in buying a cooker 2 mnths ago.. an older man was trying to return something and the same manager was shouting and bawling at him telling him to leave

Reducing a female to tears and shouting and bawling at an elderly man. If thats how this Currys manager carries on this definately needs bringing to the attention of Head Office.
