Hope you recover quickly and you are feeling better soon
Diolch Starnac! I feel fine:D Imposed inactivity is just not me:( I am soooo bored. Meal plan done financials thought about and more plans/ideas made. Lots of dead heading done and a bowl full of raspberries and red currants picked.................ho hum
Trip to docs tomorrow not connected with recent surgery but with something picked up in a blood test - nothing to worry about just need a chat with the doctor who always makes you feel you have 6 months to live! As I cant drive will have to prevail on the kindness of friends to take me as OH has a pressing engagement with some thermals ( not what you think:rotfl::rotfl:)
Think I am going to slowly file paper mountian and do some easy decluttering and photo taking for Eb*y next. At least being off work is saving on diesel costs which is about £10 a day!Be the change you want to see -with apologies to Gandhi

Felt shattered last night but couldn't get to sleep - no obvious reason other than wide awake! Sat up and watched Q Time followed by This Week which I quite like but rarely get to see cos its a 'school night';) Interesting debates on the Scottish vote............. anyway up shot is I got about 7 hrs unbroken sleep which is fab as I often have broken nights which have become the norm in recent years, and am feeling much better for it - no fuzziness:rotfl:
So more pottering and sorting.A few financials to see to and I think I need to plan the seven or eight weeks stretching in front of me otherwise they will be frittered away and nothing achieved...
Breakfast first!Be the change you want to see -with apologies to Gandhi

Well the traveler has returned from her Big School Trip African Adventure. A face full of sunshine freckles and smiles.A head full of stories, SD cards full of photos and a rucksack full of red African dust and laundry:rotfl: Nice to have her back safe in the fold..............Be the change you want to see -with apologies to Gandhi

Enforced house boundedness has led to enforced financial jiggery pokery in that I have been looking at my current 0% deals and having a shift about. All good and all on 0% again although split across 3 cards but 2 of those are 15 month deals. I have closed a couple of CCs as they are just sitting there with a nil balance and I wont be using them again:) PADs working nicely for me. Got a few full 'saving tins' to count out and pay in over the counter towards one CC debt - about the only bank that doesnt have a cashier roll their eyes at having to handle MONEY in the form of loose change................:rotfl: It will have to wait until I can drive again though:D
Enjoying not having to spend £10 a day on diesel:DBe the change you want to see -with apologies to Gandhi

Bleurgh a week of doc appointments and physio. Having a T*sco delivery today...............first time in along time but its a £1 delivery and worth it:D
Started de cluttering bathroom cupboard yesterday - bit late in the day so didnt get it finished and also site of surgery got a bit painful - hoping not infected - seems OK today and a dressing change tomorrow which I cant wait for cos its so itchy! Threw/recycled some stuff and a couple of things to list on Eb*y. Bedding, towels, spare curtains (going to donate to CS I think) wool and fabric store to sort today...............cupboard is large walk in affair and a magnet for anything - including forgotten presents bought for Christmas 2 years ago - that hasn't been given a specific home.
Blood tests have thrown up some un pleasantries - auto immune disease which is manageable/treatable and was something a grandparent had diagnosed in later life but I had no idea it can run in families. Its a bit of a shock to be told body has turned on itself but I think I have got over that now but I am struggling to impress on OH the seriousness of it. At first I thought 'Oh this wont kill me.Medicate and carry on.............' Well actually, news is not great if treatment is not monitored carefully and tailored to individual needs...............hmmmm long chats with GP I think ( not the one who is all doom and gloom:eek:) and with family me thinks. Anyway some things have been brought into sharp focus again..........there is always something!Be the change you want to see -with apologies to Gandhi

DD2 and I thought we would splash out and have a well known pizza delivered........2 4 Tuesday and all that.Ordered on line cash back all very:money:...................delivery always takes a bit longer cos of where we live and delivery person is always apologetic as it usually takes 2 extra phone calls to find us:rotfl: Anyway we sat in garden and enjoyed it ..............for a while and then about hour later remembered why we dont do this very often.........both started with what we call Double F Headaches ( fast food) and felt meh for rest of evening:( Not great now been up since 5 feeling very low and still have headache - lots of water I think to try and flush it out.

Sorry to hear about your blood test. A good chat to the doctor about managing the condition is a good idea. Hope with medication/monitoring you can control it well.
