Better day at work. Kept the micro manager at arms length - best place:) Got to work with them though as we are working on the SDP at the moment. My 'team' saw a different side of me today....some of them didnt like it. Oh well job has to be done

Got to get back to menu planning and proper budget for food buying and my lovely envelopes - things went on the slide a little over Easter when I was determined to run down the freezers and food stores generally which was great but meant we got into the habit of doing 'top up' shops here and there and still havent really got back into a routine...........working on it now.

Fab day today: skinned a rabbit and cooked curry for 20 on a fire:) Clearly I was not in work;) More tomorrow..............

Not looking forward to weekend weather and I had hope to finish off a couple of niggling jobs in the garden:(

Well if I a pinned indoors there will be nothing for it but to attack clutter mountain again and earn some money on Eb*Y

Aaaargh! 2 days away from work on CPD and mircro manager has swooped in and done what they are best at...............micro managing:mad: Just opened email from them to say they have changed something again that we only changed on Wednesday - in addition to their MM technique they have a knee jerk reaction to a problem and dont allow anything to embed ( especially if not own idea) before they want it changing again. Really going to have to think about how I handle this before I explode.

Have managed to spend nothing this weekend:j

Fab thunderstorms on Saturday morning followed by Fab tennis match ( glad the electric came back on!) women's tennis beginning to look interesting again apart from the ear piercing screeching which I really do find annoying.

Great warm sunny Sunday morning . Three lines of washing died and lots done in garden followed by another great tennis match!

Haven't given work a thought and will pay for that tomorrow:( Although I did briefly look up on how to deal with a micro manager...........interesting!

I've followed your diary for a while and after catching up on recent posts just now I wanted to say I hope you are feeling better soon. You sound like you've had a tough time of it between your health, the unexpected bills and the hassle with the micro-manager. Why do these things always crop up in batches making them more difficult to cope/deal with?

Keep your chin up and here's hoping you get back on track soon

Going to give myself a little personal challenge. As its 100 days to The Scottish Vote I thought I would pay an extra £1 a day to a particular debt. Now the Scottish vote has nothing to do with me being neither Scottish nor living there and TBH I am not so sure how I feel about the whole Scottish independence thing................but this way whatever the outcome I will have paid an extra £100 off the debt by the time Scotland has voted.....I know. Weird. I just wanted a date/time limit to head for. I will be including it in my daily PAD. I did think I would struggle this month with PADs but this way I think its manageable:D

Today at work I was Mx Nasty. Tomorrow I will have to start a staff briefing with being a little contrite although my group tongue lashing was not unfounded..................:mad:

I would seem my mini challenge to myself has been fulfilled rather sooner than I thought........this morning, very early as I was wide awake ( or so I thought ) at 4.30am, I thought I would do my online PADs - my £1 PAD to appointed debt for my mini challenge turned out to be £100 as I missed the . out! What and idiot! Now I have given myself a good talking to I have decided to put it down to experience and look on the bright side the appointed debt will now be reduced by £200 by the time Scotland make their decision:rotfl: Meanwhile we will be living of the contents of the freezers and food cupboards for rest of this month!

A work at home day and the sun is glorious.................been up since 5.15 but hey ho that means work almost done and weekend will start soon! Aiming to sort a load of carp from house/sheds too and I believe there is a deal on Eb*y this weekend so I will be listing as the the TV has almost stopped working......every time I put it on there seems to be programs depicting over paid men running round a field kicking a ball......... of course this doesnt apply when they have a racquet in their hand;):rotfl::rotfl:
Its going to be a weekend of garden and tennis and maybe we will crack open the P!mms in the spirit of using up what is in the cupboard:D
