    Just had notification of tax code change following correction so I will expect a few pennies more :) Havent looked at figures for pension and NI - I just accept they are deducted!

    Thats a blow..........still havent checked out if I am paying more pension etc. Its 'rountuit' job :D

    Planning a weekend sorting the garden which is about to burst into its late spring splendour:) Heard the cuckoo this week - bit late its usuall here beginning of April but its back looking for a mate none the less :)

    Also a bit of sorting and Eb*ying this weekend. Still suffering a hacking cough which I just cannot shift - its viral says doc:o

    I have just about recovered from a 2 day worked related training thing in an airless hotel in a large city.............Oh I am such a hillbilly:rotfl: I am really grateful we live where we do - its worth doing without some conveniences - the 40 mile round trip to the cinema is worth every bit of the view on our doorstep me and the OH spent half an hour gazing at this evening.

    Sticking to my self imposed rule of PADding my vouchers/coupons - £4.37 in various T*sco ones yesterday. Its all adding up I have to say :)

    Finally got 1000 points on You Gov survey site. Taken me 18 months. OK I dont do every one that I get just because of time etc but I need 4000 more to get my £50.....................:rotfl::rotfl:

    Well bit of a bombshell dropped to day at work ...........The Idiot in Charge who gave me such grief towards the end of last year applied for the post ( they were in post in an 'acting ' capacity) didnt get the job:eek: I am gob smacked. Things had settled down a lot and we were all getting along - not great but certainly all working together and moving forward. Now its all up in the air again with a lot of uncertainty. Will have to get hold of one of the senior managers tomorrow to get some answers. I hate all this cloak and dagger stuff - just come an talk to us!

    Hi Igamogam :wave:

    I shall have a good old read of your diary when I've got more time towards the end of this week.

    It's really bad when the work environment is in chaos. Hope management get their act together pdq to lessen any disruption.

    On a better note I need to thank you :T I put petrol in my car at Tesco and went by the litre and not the pound. Excellent tip ty.

    The Idiot No Longer in Charge did the decent thing today and spoke to senior managers and told them they had made a big mistake! Also told them they needed to meet with rest of staff and explain a few things and maybe introduce the New Person in Charge - "is that really necessary" was the reply !!!!!!! So we will wait and see what is going on................
