Well didnt get the job......a close run thing they said............ will get some feedback tomorrow. Feel philosophical about it but a little rejected too. However, place was very run down and in need of a lot of change I think. So I guess it was not to be............there must be something else planned for me but I cant help thinking I wish it would hurry up and come along!Be the change you want to see -with apologies to Gandhi

Got over the rejection with the help of a couple of glasses of wine - not a big drinker and never in the working week but hey why not on this occasion;)
Back to work today and although people commiserated they all said they were glad I didn't get it.............for all the right reasons!

Pinned down with a migraine again for 3 days............:mad: Anyway all back together again now and need to focus on money - taken eye off the ball for a week or so. Looking forward to next few days have place to myself which is a rare luxury - OH and DD2 off to family wedding which I had the perfect excuse no to go to - cant get time off work as holidays are fixed and I certainly was not going to take unpaid leave:o
So my plans are to eat like I prefer - I'm a natural grazer. Have a food store stock take and do some menu plans. Enjoy the garden. Eb*y a few things and generally chill:)Be the change you want to see -with apologies to Gandhi

7 hours of glorious gardening - when not uninterrupted by shopping, washing,cleaning, cooking, running an unpaid taxi service and responding to questions like 'have you seen my spanner/clarinet/car keys/vital French homework?' its just amazing what can be achieved in one day:j Today its the turn of the house but its lovely and sunny outside I may just spend some more time out there;). I could get use to this.......................
