Must be that Spring Feeling creeping up ever so slowly - birds are busy home building despite the frost, snow and hail and yesterday saw me scurrying around from room to room on a declutter spree - not very productive as it turns out as I just moved some boxes from one room to another which is not in use at moment - need to make a concerted effort in one area and get that camera going for Eb*Y
Money wise.........hmmmm _pale_ I keep plugging away with the PADs and over pay all the other bills but still need to work out how to make a significant dent in the £1000 car repair bill which had to go on a CC:(. Food bill came in this week at £54 which is a significant improvement but I am running down the freezers so over Easter break I can do some batch cooking. Got a 1p voucher at T*sco check out yesterday - this was what they claimed was the difference had I shopped elsewhere...............will claim it as a PAD next time I do some shopping as I did promise myself ANY extra money however small will go against the debt:D They are really living up to their advertising slogan aren't they:rotfl::rotfl: Just cut the prices, air miles, fancy ridiculous offers on things that nobody wants and start thinking a bit more local, stop loss leaders and pay farmers properly and maybe I might stop complaining:cool:Be the change you want to see -with apologies to Gandhi

Must stop playing in the snow..................planned to do loads this 2 week holiday and already behind even with the bonus snow day:( It is gorgeously sunny here today but bitterly cold - been out taking photos and building igloos and general silliness in snow - love it. Stonking views and snow piled up 10ft on either side of lane. Doing nothing for the purse though - treated ourselves at favourite cafe after with hot chocolate and lemon cake which I know I could have done at home for a fraction of the £10 it cost us - well we are on holiday..............:DBe the change you want to see -with apologies to Gandhi

Its snowing again
Just fed poor confused birds - usually we stop feeding them extra around about now and I have just about run out of my winter supply of peanuts and seed ( by in bulk) so have been making up stuff with some past their best raisins some old seed sand nuts from back of cupboard, bits of bread and poured over half a block of melted lard and put out some water - birds seem grateful enough. 12 blackbirds in one go hanging around the feeders - most I have ever seen and very aggressive towards each other.
Did say I would make a reassessment of debt - well if I take the car bill out of the equation then I guess it has gone down - by a tiny disappointing amountNeed to move 2 large ish CC to 0% deals - working on that now. Ho hum just keep plugging away. Hoping Eb*y will help out a little this month - beginning to lose interest in things like surveys ( take so long or just get rejected) and as for top cash back we are not spending any money and insurance things are not due now until 2014, so extra pennies there. On the plus side the solar panels have quietly clocked up some money over the winter and are now increasing every day so electricity bill may well be in credit again soon

Just been checking out the cash back site I use and one of the survey sites and find I have over £20 languishing between the 2. I now have that moved into my account and it will be the basis of a PAD tomorrow. Also £15 from Eb*y which will be PADed when it arrives- may take up surveys again!Be the change you want to see -with apologies to Gandhi

It has snowed all morning here - flurries it said. We are now experiencing white out conditions! Birds beginning to look desperate. Going to brave the weather and visit the Bigger Town - calling in at RSPB reserve on the way to get some sunflowers seeds - birds had better repay with de bugging and de slugging the garden when the weather improvesBe the change you want to see -with apologies to Gandhi

Fantastically gloriously sunny day here - felt a little strange hanging out washing with still a foot of snow in garden but sun has warmth in it and its breezy - wouldn't describe them as zephyr but it will get the washing dry
Bright sun means solar panels earning their keep and all washing recharging any thing that requires power being done to day!
Used up various vouchers and cash back stuff today as a PAD against the never decreasing debt.
Going to look put for comet tonight between 6.30-7pm - apparently look due west after sun set and it can be seen as a blurry blob - wont pass here again for 10 000 years ( debt will be paid by then I hope :rotfl:). Its going to be a clear sky and luckily we live in an area with very little light pollution.
Have a few things on Eb&y - so fingers crossed - must make a much more concerted effort in this dept its the only way to generate any extra cash at momentBe the change you want to see -with apologies to Gandhi
