I may well have won a war at work but I feel there a few more battles on the horizon..................
My PADs are working nicely:) So far this month have PADded £47.57Also paid £92 regular payments ( none now due till Feb) so thats a grand total of 137.57 which is 0.68% of the total debt
I still haven't had time to bank a cheque from share dividends ( not a huge amount:rotfl:) and today I have received a £10- gift card from T*sco after I returned some very smelly chicken to them so when I have banked/used all this I will make sure I then transfer the money from the account onto the debt - remembering the mini LBM a few weeks backBe the change you want to see -with apologies to Gandhi

Well as predicted there are still some battles to fight at work...........the idiot in charge is still trying their hardest to discredit me.....they seriously have no idea what waits for them around the corner if this carries on.
Anyway its a snow day:T:j:T Oh they will claw it back somewhere along the line but for now I will enjoy it and I will remember to put the money saved on the 100 mile commute towards the debt - but that will have to wait til payday later this month - things very tight on the budget:(Be the change you want to see -with apologies to Gandhi

Putting the snow day to good use - OH finally sorting out some paper work and came across an old T*sco CC bill from 2005 and on it it says I paid cardholder protection - hmmmmmmmmmm A bit of clicking round the wibbly web and I find this is possibly PPI under another guise - cardholder protection is a flat fee that you pay against theft of card etc ( also totally unnecessary) This amount is certainly not a flat fee but definitely a percentage of the outstanding balance - i.e PPI so I rang their customer services dept and they where very helpful looked up the old account and agreed with me is was more than likely PPI and helpfully put me through to their PPI complaints dept..........who are closed today due to adverse weather conditions! Helpful CS man did give me their number though
Going to pursue this one and quietly say 'OK OH you do have a point - keeping the final statement may come in handy'

Hope you're ok in among the snow there. The snow didn't hit us until last night thankfully, but it's still going and I'm already fretting about Monday - we never get snow days...Ninja Saving Turtle0

We love snowVentured out last night at about 5.30 as finally a gritter had been down the lane and thought we really needed to brave the dreaded T*sco as I am keeping food stocks to a minimum till pay day.....thought it would be mayhem with the townies panic buying but no they obviously took heed of all the warnings and stayed at home - next to no snow in the Big Town - and the place was empty - just how I like it
