Floods are quite mad - and according to Met Office we are no where near the average rainfall - what the heck is going on!

Work a nightmare - have had to pull in union support who had better be worth the subscription fees and fight my corner..........

Hope everything goes ok for you at work. Am thinking of getting some sandbags for here. Couldn't see the grass in the garden at the weekend for all the rain, although I'm reliably informed that the village hasn't flooded since 1947!

Oh Igamogam..that is SO horrid. I really hope it works out for you and your TU officials get you a long term resolution that works

Flooding is shocking. More grim news from Wales today and of course it was the SW last week/over the weekend. Has eased up here though today.

I did promise myself that by 1.12..12 I would be ready for Christmas - PAH! Failed on that one.................. usually I am ahead of the game but for some reason ( probably work related) I havent given it much thought except I do have £40 worth of vouchers on the way to spend on DDs for presents...............gained from on line surveys.

Work still carp and is beginning to fill my every waking moment ( and sleeping ones) Spontaneous decision last night to go to cinema - rarely do OH and I go together, its usually a family affair. Not my film of choice but I quite enjoyed this escapism. Also enjoyed having some kids turfed out who arrived half way through ( obviously from another screen so had no tickets) Messing around with phones and generally disrupting............ very impressed with how the staff dealt with it:D
