Oh how I sympathise with the exhaustion!!! It's horrible, eh? And you still having your box of frogs to manage every day. I so hope you find the space to congratulate yourself. You do an amazing job and to keep going amidst all this upheaval is just brilliant. So WELL DONE from me!

There's lots of work getting cancelled at my place as people sit around staring blankly at their computers and not going anywhere or doing anything we're supposed to do. I'm trying not to get sucked into that but it's difficult.

As for your colleagues thinking you're slacking...bloody cheek. A bit of support and sympathy wouldn't hurt, would it? Grrr.

Hope your weekend is fabulous and you manage to switch off from it all for a bit. :) See you next week (iykwim!)

Been away from the debt busting - taking a break - not in a spendy way but more clearing the clutter in the house and the clutter in my head :) Debts are still there of course but have got no bigger - but there doesnt seem to be as much spare cash around - not that there wa loads before! Think I iahve stopped thinking about food shopping and not planning means that budget has creeped back up so will be back on to that very soon!

Posting to day because I have news on the job front. Although there was no real chance of me losing my job there was a real chance that I would have to return to what I did 8 years ago which was IMHO mind numbing ( some in my profession aspire to do what I did and think its the pinnacle of their career - mad!)

Anywaaaay - confirmed today that job will remain the same ( ish) but will relocate - fab facilities I have to say. Cant quite insert jumpy smilie because there are still many things to sort and questions to be answered. It will add 20 miles to my 90 mile roundtrip but the difference will be paid for :) but I have a nagging feeling they want more from me for the same remuneration IYSWIM.............hmmmmm. Thinking cap on

That's brilliant news about your job being mostly the same. I really hope it is, and that the extra travel isn't too much for you. And that you don't get dumped with a load of unwanted new tasks and responsibilities. (or is that just my employer that tries to pull that stunt? lol)

I don't believe mine will be mostly the same, but I just need to wait and see. I have told the big boss that I don't want to sit in meetings all day and that if they stop my 1:1 work with the children, I may lose my registration. Gave them something to think about as they try to turn me into a co-ordinator with no extra cash and lots of supervisory responsibilities. They'so sneaky.

    How's the debt busting going?

That all sounds so familiar................. I have a meeting on Monday to thrash some things out. Also putting together over this weekend an 'expression of interest' about something to do with the job......more responsibilities but more money.

As far as debt busting goes its all under control not getting any bigger - just had a few card shuffles this month- but I am not giving it all my attention as I have lots of other stuff that is more important. Some good news - no more rent payments for student daughter so that £290 a month extra:T Got a feeling though I wont feel the benefit:(
