    Hi Imagogam

Your work sounds like hell right now. I really hope it calms soon and that the powers that be get a clue. Are you managing with the extra travel and stuff? Are they paying for it?

I also had a wee op recently, couple of weeks ago, and thought the general anaesthetic was harder to recover from than the procedure. Groggy and fuzzy-headed...nice. I hope your op helps with the problem.

I'm off to try and prise my own head from the sand and update my diary. I can't get back into the swing of it but I'm trying. I loved your post about all the mse thing you had done. Sounded fab.

    See you around. :)

Feel worse today.Hospital rang yesterday to see how I was.Well other than a bit of fuzziness I felt fine: made sure I 'rested up'( very unusial for me) took on fluids etc etc but today feel as if I have crashed into a brick wall and the wall didnt give :( Started some of the post operative meds today and find one bottle of stuff is empty:eek: havent slept much and OH has b00gered off on a (long timed planned) jolly til next Friday......... A call to NHS direct I think. DD2 has a busy day ahead too and needs running to a couple of activities. Do have a friend who is calling tomorrow with provisions and some of her deelish cheese and broccoli soup :) but feel I need to at least run the vac round but the dishwasher on and maybe move the mountains of clean laundry that needs putting away

Just watched weather forecast for rest of day - they are claiming a fine sunny day..............fair blowing a hoolie and lashing with rain at moment:eek:
Not recovering from this surgery as quickly as I thought - not so much lots of pain but discomfort, poor sleep, out of sorts, poor appetite, tiredness. I have a couple of things I must do today but going to take it slowly.Have realised I have missed a couple of payments on 2 CC which for some reason dont have DD set up on - actually one card I cancelled the DD as I pay it in full every month on line but they still take a minimum DD - taken once and it bounced so had a double charge - CC said it was automatic whether the balance had been paid or not:mad: anyway looks like I have been charged and feel a little annoyed with myself - also havent been able to pay in full last couple of months............oh and so it goes on. Need to get a grip again...........I really thought I had a hold of it but turns out not and not sure why at moment cos other than bills food fuel i am not spending on anything

Looking back I think on Saturday I must have still been happy on the anaesthetic! Since then I have been slowly drained of energy. All I want to do is sleep! Doc appt on Thursday morning.

Up in middle of night feeling very sorry for myself :( The massive 'headache on waking' has returned having had almost a week of not having one - I was beginning to get hopeful that the sinus surgery had sorted it.............. I have a doctors appointment tomorrow - well in 6 hours really and hopefully he will say this is a postoperative side effect and will go away in time. Committing the cardinal sin and looking it all up on the wibbly web - looks like the healing process is a long thing - months rather than weeks before fully healed. Hurt far less when I came round after the op than it does now. All very draining and frustrating - I am not the best of patients but I have pretty much taken it easy this time and given in to the tiredness. So havent really been concentrating on the finances i.e how to tackle the ever present debt, no spends either other than a delivery of fodder for the Aga:D

OH has been away all week too so DD2 been looking after herself pretty much. We are supposed to be going to a big family gathering this weekend and I really do not feel like it. OH family btw. Cant get out of it. Next week its DD2 turn to be away..........oh no a glimpse of the future: me and the OH with an empty nest..........
