Got to see doctor today - the only one in practice who listens and makes any sense:eek:.......... Had a telephone consultation with one of the others at beginning of week, who just leaves me cold - you can turn up feeling very unwell and be told its very minor go away and get on with it or have something which is really not such a big deal but need some advice and you feel as if you have months left and there is nothing they can do about it anyway and then you always get a list of her trials and tribulations - well that last bit not on the phone thank goodness as I cut her off before she started! Anyway after some pretty brutal surgery it does look indeed as if I have an infection starting - GP very good and I am armed with a small branch of B00ts to get it under control - 6 different items thankfully we dont pay for prescriptions here. Hopefully this will mean I can start the road to full recovery cos I hate being incapacitated:(

feeling marginally more human today - the cocktail of anti this that and the other are beginning to do their stuff Looks like I wont be getting out a of a family ( OH family) gathering though - so I have treated myself to a new outfit ( smart causal so it will get more wear out of it - I rarely do very smart !) I know not very MSE and its rare I succumb to retail therapy - in fact never because I am not a shopper ( so why are you in sooooo much debt?) I am not going to feel guilty about it.......and I must stop talking/typing to myself:rotfl::rotfl:

Pants just seen its FLW on Eb*y and I have a dining room full of stuff that needs to go and I wont be here this weekend aaarrggh!!!! Oh I will just take the hit and list on Monday:)

First day in while I have felt I have had any get up and go. Hectic family gathering weekend which had its ups and downs but as I had an excuse to find peace and quiet I managed to get through it and avoid the people I wanted to DD2 now on her school exchange and loving it now just have to get through rest of week as OH taken some AL......................a glimpse of the future:eek::D

Woa......... just checked on line and find I have £1.04 to last me til pay day on Friday. Someone else on these boards has said recently it doesnt feel right when you earn what is regarded as a good salary and yet have to count every penny.............. cupboards are stocked and there are logs in the wood shed. I have no need for fancy gadgets or latest whatnots ( just as well ) so we will make it til payday. Will pay milkman this week from 20p and 5p jar - he is use to it!

Spent a pleasant 2 hours in garden this afternoon - guilt free! meaning I didnt have any demands being made on my time: didn't feel I should be doing other things shopping, cleaning,washing,putting clothes away,work prep,debt busting or indeed saving the world I had thrown a load of needed to be used up stuff into slow cooker. Cleared kitchen so donned gloves and got secateurs going and had a good old tidy in garden - did enough to make a difference the only thing that stopped me is that compost bins full and council bin also full to bursting - no DD2 here at moment to jump up and down on it :rotfl: and I think being outside certainly made me feel more energised and gave me a bit of thinking time

Glad you're feeling perkier. I know what you mean about earning a good salary but still counting the pennies. After a much increased vet bill today, I now have the grand total of 12p in my current account. Roll on pay day.

Too much procrastination and too many distractions/avoidance activities! :mad::mad::mad:

Even cleared up DD2 bedroom and put her clothes away which I really dont do just to avoid the stuff that needs doing:mad::D:mad:

Gorgeous day here - in garden doing some more tidying - not avoiding anything cos until I get paid I cant shuffle money around. Ben to doc today to get 'fit note' - return to work on Monday but hey its half term so in fact don't get back in harness until 5th . So while waiting for HM soup to warm up I am having a little mooch round the boards. Also waiting for EON to get their finger out re our feed in tariff for solar panels - we submitted our figures in August and they have p!ssed round claiming they havent had any info - finally admitted last week they had made a mistake and had all the info they needed - will be submitting next lot of figures in a couple of weeks..............hoping for £400- £500

Lovely sunny day again. Got long list of things to do - funny its the same list that has been hanging over me all week none of which involve spending money but now thee is money in the bank I feel more inclined to do it...why is that............?

Well thats the bathroom done Coffee now although chief coffee maker is busy mending puncture on wheel barrow - for umpteenth time. Was a time we would have just popped down to local farm supplies and bought new tyre/inner tube/even whole new wheel barrow and a load of other stuff at same time whilst we here there But here we are, on good salaries, finding simple pleasures in the old ways and the OH claiming victory in that he was glad he kept his puncture repair kit:rotfl:
