Your birthday treat sounds like it was amazing Igamogam. You really can't put a price on time with good pals, can you? Afternoon tea, nom nom! and a fabby present. Those pals really know you well.

Hope all's well and you're getting your head around the work change. :)

Hello Ani  I was thinking about you today - will pop over to yours and see how you are doing. Yeah My head is pretty much around the job change but my heart aint IYSWIM Think I am going to have to work on very much making it my own by that I mean taking control of the changes and now just going along with it all - if something doesnt feel right then I will have to say and change in working conditions will have to be negotiable;)

Have had a pretty good weekend flinging and gardening in between the showers! Need to get on top of the clutter - certainly blocking the energy flows. Lots to Oxf*m lots to Fr**gle and sheer rubbish in bin. Dedicated pile to Eb*Y too :)

Cant say I am looking forward to going back to work tomorrow. With all the changes and reorganisation going on the vultures are circling - I know the head cant wait to get their hands on my room - I am sure the colour for the walls has been chosen and the furniture rearranged already! I will be doing to some serious decluttering there too but I am going to give any toys and books I am not taking with me to the mad frogs. Feeling bitter that I have not been supported but I must not allow it to eat away at me :D

You have a right to feel bitter and fed-up. I'm fed-up myself with the occasional slide into bitterness...I'm indulging for the moment! :D

It's helping me to remember that the decisions are always about money. Every single time. And not about you in particular, or your work, or your frogs and what's best for them. It's always the money. And in lots of ways, I'd be more shocked if they actually made a decision based on what was best for our service users. In fact, I'd fall off my chair. :rotfl:

I'm sure your head will live to regret not fighting harder for you. Shame by that time you'll have moved already. I think we'll see something similar at our place. And how awful that your room is already being redesigned for when you're gone! Just gave me a thought... there were a couple of vultures after my desk at work when I got it...but no worries that they try and take it over before I'm gone because they're sacked too!!!

Good luck with getting through this.

That makes 2 of us - of course they will have whipped out the chair from under us!!

Well tough old day in work - made a home visit to a frog  wish the head had come with me but they had a sudden urgent appointment/filing crisis/re arrangement of the deck chairs to attend to..................

Have started the 'big clear out' in anticipation of my job moving location.Have to start now because if I wait for an official announcement I would probably get 24 hrs notice of removal van arriving:mad: Lots of rubbish to ditch, paper to recycle/shred and some of the stuff I have provided either from my own kids casts offs or bought in sales and on Eb*y I am going to sell or fr**gle

Not sure if I am feeling sorry for myself or just mightily p!ssed off. As yet no decision is has been made and yet decisions and plans about what is going to happen when I move are being made.all b00dy ars@ about face if you ask me. In the meantime I am tackling a cupboard/drawer/shelf a day and at the same time smiling through gritted teeth. Unfortunately our frogs are very sensitive to tension and I can see their anxieties rising so me and the TA are a bit swan like at the moment and trying to stave off that end of term feeling which has dropped on us about 3 weeks too early:eek: Needless to say nothing I do is right even to the extent of lining up the wellies in the wrong place - the place we have used for the last 9 months:mad::eek:

Hope your day goes ok today, Igamogam. Think I will start clearing out my desk too. I already feel like I've gone. Isn't that strange?

Your poor frogs. And mine. Like they don't have enough to cope with in life. :(

A day at a time's not a bad strategy for getting through this.

    Hugs.

Ani I feel totally exhausted with it all .The mentally rather than physical:o We meaning my assistant, one of the frogs support workers and me are so under a spot light at the moment its making a difficult job almost impossible. We are keeping our heads down and carrying on. Its a manic time of year for my colleagues which coincides with a much easier time of year for us - having spent 2 terms battling with mad frogs , unpacking their baggage and putting it back in order all neatly folded so they can function in the 'real' world we can now take a breather and bask in the glory of a job well done........well thats the theory. Unfortunately our colleagues see us as slacking now which in the past we have always taken on the chin and always offered out time/help if they needed it. But we feel resentful now and are making sure our and our frogs well being comes first. Then of course this becomes a vicious circle as we dont want to be seen as belligerent:( Oh am I looking forward to a weekend break!
