OkBusy week. Now winding down to summer break;) My OH and the 2 DDs feel much the same as you Brizz:( In the aftermath I am seriously thinking of invoking my own article 50 and returning my British passport thereby relinquishing my dual nationality:eek: I dont hold British 'citizenship' and never have and so had no say in last weeks debacle. Never felt British, always European so I would retain my European nationality of course and my EU citizenship and that is good enough for me.........didnt see that one coming did you :rotfl:;)

Like the plan! I think the last week has been a lesson in how fast the unexpected can take over and steer previously longstanding known knowns into the very long grass..
Glad you're winding down to the summer break. At the Y11 presentation evening for DD1 yesterday. Lovely to see school celebrating their achievements, whatever the results, they are a cracking year. School life at its best and most positiveMFiT-T4 Member No. 96 - 2022 is my MF goal

Aaaargh! *insert rude words* I have taken my eye of the ball lately regarding CCs - over payments and PADs still keep being made of course:money: but I missed the fact one of them had a 0% coming to an end and today I discover I have paid interest for the last couple of months on the outstanding balance:mad::mad: So shuffled a few things around a bit and its a bit of a damaged limitation exercise as I have no wiggle room on the other cards for a BT.........do have a LOB card with no BT fee which I will utilise for now. Kinda scuppered my plan to sweep an extra 1% every month on top of all the other payments to the card with the highest balance. Anyway no matter, these things happen, the world is still turning and the sunny garden beckons:D Have managed to get another £20 off car insurance renewal - swings and roundabouts:DBe the change you want to see -with apologies to Gandhi

Still a couple of weeks to go before the 6/7 weeks 'off' Cant wait. I have sorta ground to a halt with everything and really need batteries recharged and a little space to think...........next 2 weeks are going to be mega busy mad frog wise.....admin, admin, paperwork, admin end of term frenzy so I will just concentrate on that and tick things over regarding finances and decluttering. No plans to leave the homestead this hols ( mainly because OH has used up all his AL with his trip of a life time last year which he has finally admitted he will be doing it again this year....how he is financing that I have no idea ) So I will have plenty of time to tweek/ renew plans during July and August. DD2 will be pretty much self sufficient this summer - 2 trips away and a job to keep her occupied...........hmmm beginning to look forward to my staycation!Be the change you want to see -with apologies to Gandhi

Busy busy busy............and there is tennis to watch! Cant wait for "My Summer" to begin. For me summer doesnt start until I finish work so it gets condensed into 6-8 weeks or so...... and I have plans as always but wont get started until the dust settles from the end of term frenzy, the mad frogs are waved off to their home ponds for "Their Summer" and I have a bit of head space. I am doing things on the periphery so little jobs are out of the way so I can concentrate on what lies ahead.....DECLUTTER PHASE 2 which will take in the final 2 sheds and the loft:D I have some fun things to do as wellBe the change you want to see -with apologies to Gandhi

Fabulous walk on a favourite beach to day with a friend
Not many people around. Dog free and almost living up to its Blue Flag status.............I am taking up the 2minutebeachclean challenge ( g00gle it) as I intend to get may beach walks in this holiday. Just a small bag of litter removed but some had obviously been around for a while *sigh*
