How frequent do you have them?
I have prevention meds for migraine - feel it coming on then take a tablet - 9 times of 10 it works. This last time came on very sudden and was on the back of a virus. No longer as intense or frequent as they used to be now sorted with the autoimmune issue I have. Sorted in the sense I now self medicate as NHS treatment was pants to say the least and totally inadequate. Getting my life back slowly:DBe the change you want to see -with apologies to Gandhi

Woohoo to HMRC refund, but sorry re migraine and also DD's narrow miss for grades. I know Wales does much more for its undergraduates fees wise, but even so have to admire her for sticking to what she knows she wants and then any debt is 'worth it' iyswim.
Enjoy the final fortnight.. Hope the shed of doom is less tricky than it first appeared?

When DD1 went to university she had to go to a Welsh university to get the benefits of reduced fees. Now Welsh students get the reduced fee whichever university they attend...........don't know how long that will last
Green Shed of Doom will stay closed today..........rain is coming down like string! Seriously thinking of staying under the duvet with the cats and radio 4!Be the change you want to see -with apologies to Gandhi

Today has been the BT CC shuffle...........it seems to be getting harder  A couple of cards I have have always been good with BT offers but at the monenet they are not offering them - new customers yes you can have very competative rates but loyal customers....
I have tried and failed to close two CCs as well as I 'didn't pass the security check' !!!!!!??!! I will go into the relevant banks and speak to someone face to face.
Thoughts turning back to debt busting again after it being at the back of my mind for the last 6/7 weeks..........always coincides with the new academic year:) I havent ignored it but have concentrated on others things:D First thing might be a meal plan which means a cupboard and freezer inventory..........later though.......sunny outside;)Be the change you want to see -with apologies to Gandhi

Cant settle to one job today - return to work looming and I keep running ideas around my head about that so finding 'domestic stuff' hard to concentrate on.
As DD2 is not going to university this time we will at least not be forking out almost £500 per month for accomodation:eek: Does mean I have another 12 months breathing space to chip away at debt and it really is chipping away in TINY chips - really frustrating. Must try harder!! Managed to do a CC BT shuffle yesterday, but the margins are beginning to get tight. Couldnt quite get all the debt off one card shifted to another so I will have to think really hard about my next steps.
DD2 staying at home wont really cost us anymore...well I hope not! I have taken a £200 per month cut in salary due to council cuts - I got extra for extra responsibilities. Will still have those responsibilities of course:mad: I havent touched the Child benefit for over 12 months and will be able to continue with this as she is in FT education so I am going to keep not touching it and hopefully this will give a little buffer when she goes to university in 12months:o
Right off to yoga class to see if that improves the concentration:rotfl:Be the change you want to see -with apologies to Gandhi
