Busy day today but energy levels better. Made the most of the sun . Tomorrow a visit to hairdresser . Will be dipping into the 'hair cut envelope' to pay for it don't think there is quite enough but I have some loyalty points to use too
Because we have been very busy at home there have been few trips out and certainly no meal out treats or sneaky afternoon teas with friends so a low spend break for meBe the change you want to see -with apologies to Gandhi

Despite it being a low spend 2 weeks, not even half way through month and bank account looking lean:( need to bank some cheques which I keep forgetting about otherwise will dip into OD and be charged.
Bit of a tidy up and KMing today and trip to hairdresser.
DD1 paying flying visit home tomorrow - was coming then said she couldnt, then had text last night to say she could........lovely to see her but I had planned the declutter and gettting ready for major building work next week by using her room as a place to put contents of kitchen bed room and dining room into........will have to delay until Sunday now:oBe the change you want to see -with apologies to Gandhi

Hair done and Tesc* click and collect done for tomorrow - hate shopping at the best of times and this way its a quick swoosh into carpark load shopping and straight out again
Have some work related stuff to tackle tomorrow so will probably have a bit of a late night tonight still getting house sorted as much as poss before workmen move in next week.
Weather breaks over night so outside distractions will not be as attractive:PBe the change you want to see -with apologies to Gandhi

At last some time in the garden..........building project on house getting a bit stressy so the garden took a hammering last 2 days
Caught up on weeds and made a few plans. Glad to find some plants which stayed in pots over winter have survived, but not all
Thinking I will go ahead with big gardening project planned for last year that didn't happen.
The proper declutter continues although taken a slightly different tack with the building work - some rooms now out of bounds as they are filled with stuff we have had to move from other rooms but conservatory is empty - apart from builders/plumbers/electricians tools. It hasnt been empty like this for more years than I care to admit to:rotfl: But it does mean I have shifted a load of clutter - all recycled in some way. NOTHING IN LANDFILL:T:T
Must now get my Eb*y arris into gear to make up the short fall in the cost of the building project:( It will be all worth it in the end:DBe the change you want to see -with apologies to Gandhi

Glad you caught up a bit in the garden - I sorted out the things in pots that had survived at the weekend too - got lots of rose cuttings that have taken:) What's you big gardening project from last year? I never made my trip to recycling centre at the weekend so have a pile - about half a boot load by the front door:( which will have to stay there until next weekend - if I move it, it will be out of sight out of mind and won't leave the house:D

Cold and miserable outside today. Really wanted to do some more gardening to get out of doing the 'pressing indoor stuff' Slowed down a bit on the declutter but it will pick up again.
Have been keeping well within the £70 household spends budget - groceries toiletries pet food etc except today I spent £74 - T*sco selling off the ranges that they will not be stocking any more so I bought a couple of things I use as obviously I wont be seeing them again ...........cant really do the multiple shop shopping a) because trip to shops is a long round trip so I like the one stop shop approach and only go to other places if I am passing and b) I seriously CBA
Still keeping up with the PADs.....will be time to do another tot up soon:D
Keep promising myself to get stuff listed on Eb*y......maybe to day!
House project ongoing and lingering a bit......we will get there in the end
Work is work......frogs are not so biting and mad at this time of year as we have tamed them enough for them to hop off to pastures new:D
Large write up project for work almost complete..............maybe finish this weekend...........maybe not.
I am not very motivated at the mo and keep finding excuses not to get on with the things I need to. Maybe if I decide on a small chore and see it through to the end I will get a bit of oomph back:rotfl:Be the change you want to see -with apologies to Gandhi
