well we have good news and bad news.
Junior didn't get the grade he needed for Physics so his first choice rejected him for a place next year. He phoned his second choice and (he obviously has inherited the gift of the gab from his dad!) has got them to accept him, again for next year.
So Plan B is still in place. Just need to see it in black and white now before I can fully relax.2014 Target;

Update: DS3 has received two offers of places through clearing (after much phoning around/website searching etc etc), and is now weighing up the pros and cons of the courses and the unis. No rush, son....:cool:[0

I had a sleepless night worrying. DD checked UCAS at 7 a.m. this morning and it confimred she had her place at Loughborough (her 1st Choice) she then went to school to collect results.
I am so proud of her but also feel a little sad that she will be moving away - I know she will be fine but I will miss her!!0 -

Thats good news. It is probably best to think things through than rush into it. I am interested to know which ones too. My eldest knows a lot of people at several uni's and they all seem quite happy now they are settled.0 -
Being on holiday with practically no mobile service we didn't hear until 1pm, but good news and youngest daughter will be going to Bath uni.
Very proud of her, she worked really hard and got good results. The last of my girls to fly the nest!2013
