    Morning all....

    Happy birthday Miss Jockette.

I'm in bed on DH's laptop - he's not letting me get up as I seem to have come down with the flu........don't think I've ever felt so rough....how can every single bit of your body ache so much at the same time?

Luckily I managed to whizz around yesterday and get most things done, got half way round Mr T's and nearly passed out but my friend helped me get through the check out and got me home. There's a huge pile of ironing to do but DH has enough clean shirts for 3 more days and DD's have enough uniform so that can all wait until I'm feeling better.

DD1 is cooking tonight - she's learning a new dish each week, tonights planned menu is lasagne with garlic bread and salad - she can do a bolognaise style sauce on her own and has nearly perfected a cheese sauce so she just needs to combine it all. DH will sit in the kitchen and watch and help with the putting in the oven bit.... She sits her 11+ this week and a grammar school entry exam next Saturday so we're trying to keep her occupied and take her mind off it.

Hope you all have a great day.....

Kids r in the bath together. They are 7 (girl) & 4 (boy). Atm they are happy yo bath together but I am not sure when I should stop them bathing together iyswim.

My lot would all still get in the bath together if they would fit!!
DD 4 always jumps in with whoever is in, ds1 now 11 isnt always impressed, but it only takes about 2 minutes before hes playing with her bath toys!!!

Joannasmum Uno is so much fun i wished i had got it years ago, it is a great family game, just wondering what the uno extreme is the one with the electronic dealer?? May have to look into that one!!

Got loads done so far, iv sorted out my recipie folder, and had a start on a housework folder.
Dh is currently upstairs sorting out things for ebay for his psp fund!!
I am about to go and takkle dd room, she has way to many toys and need to sort through what can go on ebay for my more sensible car tax fund!!

Really late start to the day today. 8:10 a.m. Dh has gone out for the day with C.The D. so I'm free! Just a little foggy, and unable to decide what to do. Plenty of housework begging to be done, but since I usually slot it into my working week and set the weekend aside for fun, it seems a bit of a waste to do any more than the washing, washing up, bedmaking, Christmas dec. sorting that's been done so far.

    Go folks, suggest something.......

I swear I am going to murder someone soon! They are all determined to get under my feet. DD is refusing to go upstairs until Milkshake is finished, DS has just narrowly escaped a clip round the ear (only because I couldn't find the stool to stand on). I can't wait until his dad comes to pick him up. He was arguing with me because he wanted £3 for a new water bottle for his guinea pigs, it was only the wire holding it to the cage that had snapped. The bottle was still perfectly fine. I've just gone out with a piece of springy metal and with the aid of a pair of pliers made a perfectly good replacement and saved us £3! Why does he have to make life so difficult.

And when is this rain going to stop? I'm not going shoe shopping for DD in this, she can wear her boots for a few more days.
Organised people are just too lazy to look for things

Moggins your morning sounds much like mine, kids and dogs under feet, dogs now in huff after being shouted at and stood on because they are following me everywhere and as soon as I turn round I step on them.

DP I did wake at 10.30am but hadn't surfaced yet, tried 3 times, he should know by now when he gets in after 4am he isn't ready to wake at 10.30! Oh well I may aswell drink his now luke warm coffee!

Wanted to air the dogs carpet out, so also waiting for rain to BOG OFF! Not leaving the house, don't do shopping on Saturdays unless I really really have to!

((moggins)) The trick is ... answer with "Sure you can have £3, you can earn it by encouraging your sister to drink her milkshake and do a few odd jobs" :D (Then you sneak out and fix it anyway and take a few well earned deep breaths in the meantime). Return after his mission is accomplished, give him a big hug of gratitude and explain that as he no longer *needs* the £3 ... he can consider the tasks his special New Year gift to you! :D:D
    Reeeeeeeeellaaaaaaaaaaaxxx!!!

 Happy Birthday L'il Miss Jockett

Oh Pooky!!! (((Get Well Soon Hugs))) proper flu is a proper knock you off your feet illness!! You have my sympathies!

Well, d12yo is now upstairs having a strip wash ... it's thick mud on the pitch and guess what training was today (????) .... yuppers ... HEADERS!!! :wall: Just pleased I delayed putting the wash on until after training :T :T

D11yo has taken it upon himself to dismantle the tree - he's itching to get on my Sims2 Pets :rotfl:

    Ooops, must dash ... I'm being sidetracked with a phone call :j :j :j .... oops, I mean ... oh dear
