Good Morning All

Had a slow start today although got up at 7. DD dropped at stables, and DS went to football training 9.30 - 11.30 but literally came in covered in sludge so have stripped him off sent him to shower and OH is rinsing his clothes under the tap now. Have got to take DD's lunch down to her in a while she is soaked and freezing- roll on spring.

When Ive finished on here and going to work out menu plan for the next week and will pop to Asdas tomorrow with hopefully a small list. Then plan to tidy and clean bedroom as per yesterdays FL list might hoover stairs then it just leaves me a small amount of ironing.

DLB - I bought DD uno extreme for Xmas - its brilliant - well worth it.

Hi I am a first timer on this thread is it ok to join?
I am at work currently and doing nothing, it will star to get busy around 12:30when racing starts.
going to go and eat my soup soon to relieve the boredom!
Can't wait to get home tonight as I'm making a prawn curry with vegetable brown rice (yummy):drool:
at 16:30 tomorrow I am free for a whole week! woohoo:j ds1 is starting nursery and ds2 has to go for menogoccal (or whatever it is called!) injection on monday so thought I would have the week off!.
Pooky I hope you get well soon, flu is possibly the worst thing to have I hate not been able to do anything and feeling so achy!

Afternoon everyone. I was up at 9 but, as I didn't sleep well last night as my hip was aching and I couldn't get comfortable, I'm finding it difficult to get going.

I managed to get rid of the cooker on freecycle and I'm just waiting for the people to collect it. Someone was giving away a breadmaker but I was just too late and missed it.

I had to go to Tescos last night (the penalties of shopping without a list) and they were selling basted roasting turkey breasts (the ones you just put in the oven in the tin their sold in) for 20p. I got 2 and would have got the other one if some guy hadn't snatched it off the shelf just as I was going to grab it - but then I guess I was being a bit greedy. They're both in the freezer and will do for 2 meals over the next couple of weeks.

I must do my food inventories today and then my meal planner for next week. I'm back to work on Monday and if I don't do it now then I know that I'll be popping into the shops a couple of times for something for tea.

I cooked a beef goulash overnight last night. I think there's enough for 2 meals so we'll have some tonight and I'll freeze the rest.

Oh forgot to add - did manage to stay in the saddle yesterday altho sister didnt! & also when popped into town yesterday I booked our 2008 trip to Florida so really have got incentive to save more this year. Cant wait!

Good afternoon everyone!

Gosh, we are such a sleepy flat today~I am heavily fatigued still, hope to get over this flare-up by early next week so that if any supply crops up I am fully ready for it... our dog is in a sleepy mood today, he didn't go to bed until we did, around midnight, so I'm sure he'll nap all afternoon, still only 7 months old so can get away with it!

OH is in bed, he did his back in yesterday pushing one of those silly trolleys around on his delivery, they are so impractical for a hilly town like ours!! Glad this week is his 'long weekend' though, he has today and Monday off, as well as tomorrow.

I'm going to try some rice pudding in our SC today... OH is really excited and enthusiastic about it... I hope I don't mess it up!

Glad that Donny has walked from CBB, that boy was irritating me to high heavens, lol.

Am scouring Freecycle at the moment, my Wanted ad for a BM reaped no rewards.. ah well, you never know who might be upgrading!

Going to get myself a coffee now-my Lush stuff still hasn't turned up but neither has the postie... might text him from OHs phone to see where he has got to!!

Sadly I doubt I'll get much work done at all today... man this illness really does get me at times ...

Happy birthday missjocketuk, hope you're feeling better soon pooky, and welcome to cattie1!

Well, not much done yet this morning as slept in - hadn't realised how tired I was, so was unexpected Still haven't eaten anything yet, so will have to go hunt through the cupboards and see what we can have for lunch.

I've got some presenty stuff for next christmas sorted out: I've decided to spread the cost and buy a little as I go along, so now all I have to do is find somewhere 'safe' to put it - and hope I remember where it is when I need it :rolleyes:

Todays plan is to clean the house - the WM is almost ready to go, and then will probably get stuck into cleaning the living room. Think I might go into town tomorrow to have a look aorund the shops: depends on what time I wake up Its pizza for tea tonight, and it's sitting in the fridge so won't have to hassle about that later which is good. For now, I think the kettle is calling me (time for :coffee: ) and I have the remains of a gorgeous wheaten bread which my mum baked which I think might become part of lunch

Welcome Newbies:D

All washing done, DW emptied and DD's HW and bedroom all done and dusted;) OH just about to paint the toilets skirting board, then we are just having a dossy afternoon. Might do abit of ironing later if OH can set the board up for me. I have to sit to do it but at least im trying...very:D

We've had lunch and dinner all out ready for later. Bill hasnt been paid again and neither has parcels been sent. Dont think OH is feeling too well, not that he would say.
Have a busy week next with hospital visits(4) and dentist:eek: :eek: ..so today is our only free day.

Im going to have a snooze in abit as Im feeling very tired and body is hurting all over:rolleyes: ...everything seems to be a struggle today...never mind!

Essex-girl how i wish we could afford to go back to Florida, we went in Sept 05 and it was the most life changing hoilday ever.
We will go back one day this is one of the things that keeps me working towards being debt free.
