    Morning all,
had a bad nights sleep due to coughing all night and a raging temp, so feeling a bit wooly headed. DH helped me strip 1 king & 2 single beds, DM & her OH used the singles when they stayed for the w/end, they are washed and hanging out, err the bedding not DM & OH. I'll remake the singles when I feel better, so just remade ours.

DH wants me to go with him to buy tiles for DD1's bathroom, sigh. I told him plain white but he said he might get the wrong ones so I've got to go :o, at least it's lovely and sunny here and perhaps a bit of fresh air will do me good.

Sorry I haven't taken much in re posts but will say,

    DG Happy Birthday. _party_
LOU, it's a good idea of yours to go and spend time on your own with your Nan without any hastle, will lbe thinking of you. x

Hugs to you Lou, i think it's a lovely idea x

    Happy birthday DG!

BB - won't over do it too much! Once it's done i will feel more relaxed, I hope to spend the afternoon reading if possible!

Well - one room is done! My bedroom looks wonderfull, I found lots of change that OH must have dropped over the weeks, all gone in the new piggy bank :D - also found out why he never seems to have clothes....i think i've got about 7 loads of washing to do!

Living room is next on the agenda, but that won't take as a long as the bedroom, it's mostly quit tidy, just need to put things away, vacum, polish and clean the windows. Bathroom will take 15 mins tops too as i cleaned it before i went away so it's a once over and the floor/skirting boards to do. The kitchen is the mammoth task of the day, I think i will clean it, but not do the cupboards as i had planned- that can be a saturday job.

    Lou thoughts with you today

Very un-OS last night. Had taken salmon out of the freezer but not in the mood to cook so ordered a HUGE takeaway. Barely made a dent in it. So lots of curry in the freezer for meals in the future. But they've put their prices up so I probably won't be ordering again in a hurry.

Washing on airer. Must put another load in and clear kitchen. Its a mess.

    (((hugs))) to anyone in need.

    Morning my lovelies :D

I have a bad back from carrying DD a lot yesterday. Kids had a lovely time although ironically I think DS had had enough before DD. DD wanted to go on the log flume but H was worried she'd find it too scary so at the last minute ducked out of the queue. Me and DS thought it was fab though :) Pics on FB as soon as I get my butt in gear. Am shattered today, walking round like an old woman, got washing to hang, more to put on. Have put vac round, need to dust in a mo.
Taking kids to a fun day at a childrens centre. It's first come, first served basis so fingers crossed we're not at the end of the queue!

No idea what's for tea, just not organised this morning :o

Donny - Happy birthday, hope you have a fantastic day

Lou - Hugs for you xxx I am glad you're remembering your Nan in the way that's best for you xx

NPM - Lovin' the pics of your chicks!!!

Hugs and spoons all round. Have a good day OS or not.

Lou - You have to do what's best for you. My thoughts are with you today.
NPM - I have hens and they roam free all day. You may find it hard to get them into their coop each time you want to go out but it may be worth a try until they get settled and the other local wildlife (ie, cats) get used to them being there. Hope Noah enjoys them.
Julie - Sorry to hear about DD but sounds like she is strong and with your support she will come out the other side.

A big happy birthday to DG

    Morning All

Well, I was woken by a text at 4.45 this morning from DS1 to tell me that his Fiance's waters had broken. Needless to say I didn't get back to sleep! Still, I have given the house a good clean (mainly to get rid of all the dog hairs from my hairy visitor) and have washed for Scotland! The washing is out on the line but it's looking a bit menacing out there. Another lot just finishing.

Feeling a bit tired now, so much to do on my last day off - back to school tomorrow and the children start on Thursday. 2 days isn't long to get things sorted. Will go for more hen food later and really need to do a food shop. Had roast chicken for tea yesterday so the carcass went in the slow cooker overnight so that's the stock made for chicken and rice soup tonight at DDs request, will look for a recipe in a mo.

Right, off to hoover upstairs, hope you all have a good Monday. Take care. XX

, go to the nutcracker!! Even the cheapest far away seats in ROH for £5 have a decent view or somewhere cheaper like Birmingham. It was a brilliant documentary, I appreciate the shows so much more now.

Hope everyone enjoys the laaaavely weather today!!
I went to visit OH yesterday and aside from being bored and fevery he's okay and has no cancer elsewhere :j He stayed another night because he still had a fever and it's understandable they're being careful when he has a bladder infection + catheter + incisions, but he just text me saying he feels loads better and his temp is right down. I'm off to see him this afternoon with chocolate raisin flapjacks and his razor as requested, and might get to take him home :j
