morning!
nice sunny start here:j am off to work this afternoon. This morning I'm popping up to see my sister who is stuck in her flat with her foot in plaster. I've got some magazines to take - ones that were given to me so even better cos they are free:T
DS1 came over last night and is stopping a few days:j as he wants to see my Mum who is coming up tomorrow for a visit.
DS2 managed to come in the worse for wear last night - so he'll be feeling rough today(hopefully;))
I've had a good tidy through and the WM is on washing the dogs bedding.
My dinner is veggie sweet and sour at work. DH and DSs dinner is freezer suprise - plenty in there for them to pick from.
Happy Birthday Donny Gal:beer::bdaycake: sounds like you've had a wonderful weekend x
NPM - hope the 'girls' had a good first night!:)

Morning All,
Happy Birthday DG:beer:
Didn't manage to post yesterday, it's been a difficult weekend. Sadly DD and her BF split up again and she has moved back home with DGS. I think its probably for good this time. They have always been a bit rocky, and things have finally come to a head.
She will stay at home until she has enough money saved for a deposit on a rental near to DGS nursery. Its such a shame, they both love the baby to bits and my girl is a hard worker. I know she can get through this and will come out the other side, just hard to see her suffering:(
So chez Julie is rather full. My DS1 comes home from travelling next Monday and is home for a month so DH and I may be sleeping in the shed. Its a long time since all four kids were at home plus a partner and a baby:eek: Never mind we will cope, (secretly like having them all at home but shhhhh don't tell anyone)
Bit vat of Chilli and rice for tea. Lots of ebaying to do and some banking so busy day.
Have a good one everybody J xStarted Self Managed DMP 10th May 2017.

Redruby - How about something to listen to? Either a story or music that would evoke some memories?
Donnygal - Happy belated birthday from me too :j:j:j It sounds like you had a lovely time. I have always wanted to see the Nutcracracker after seeing that documentary about the English National Ballet.
ETA Great minds and all that xxI must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.

Morning All
Happy birthday DonnygalHave a great day x
All is quiet and everyone is still in bed - so I have had my shower and a nice quiet breakfast. Then a potter in the garden and my runner beans and chillies are getting huge and my strawberries are flowring again so maybe I might have another crop
NO real plans for today so I will just take it as it comes - I have found enough washing for a load and that is in now, so I am off to strip the beds, they will have no choice but to get up.
Have good days all xBlessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light

today is the day that i've been dreadingmy nans funeral. have decided not to go to the service. will wait until my family have gone to the wake and then spend some time at her grave. i have some flowers and have written her a poem. hubby will take me but is going to walk around so that i can be alone. theres a few other graves i want to visit too. i have too many people in that cemetery
the past year and a half has just been funeral after funeral. this is the 7th one
we will probably eat out today so no OS here unless you count the washing on that i pegged out this morning.

A positive decision Lou. Hope today goes as well as can be expected xI must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.

Morning
Yes the girls survived their first night lol. The local cats have been over this morning as usual and they took an interest in the birds but am sure the novelty will wear off soon!
Wanted to ask the others who have chickens, when you go out do you leave them in their secure run or put them back in their house? I feel a bit nervous of leaving them in the run when no one is about to keep an eye out....am only talking when you go out for an hour or two:cool:
I had persuaded DS to go to the cinema to try it to see Horrid Henry ( he finds cinema very difficult) but now he wants to stay in and be with the birds:D:p
He is off with his dad tomorrow night for 5 days in a Teepee in Scarb!...not sure how he will fare but he will survive. Not that it will stop me worrying tho:o
Need to pop out with DS this morning to local horse riding shop as they have started keeping chicken things and I want some poultry spice and coop cleaner.
Spag and meatballs for tea later.
I will be spending a vast amount of time on mariokart and mario galaxy today no doubt;)
Julie sorry to hear about DD....it all happens for a reason and she will see that one day.....I couldnt see it when ex DH left me and DS when he was 2 but now we are both happily married to other people and we get on as friends for DS`s sake more than anything and he sees DS every other weekend. Things will get better for her x0
