Big hugs to Valli's DS - that was me many years ago, and I remember how hard it was, but was also the making of me I suspect (hindsight & rose coloured specs). I hope the world looks better tomorrow.
Now I must really get up and do some ironing and not put i-player back on....HHI anyone?
MoamAlthough no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.... life is a WIP.

so much for just putting away ironing and clothes. I also sorted through 4 bags of junk and have put it all away in its proper place :j
i do however need to find/rehome the stuff thats in some of my lidded boxes as they are perfect as ive found out for under bed storage and I need at least 3 more. 1 more for towels, 1 for baby bedding and 1 for all my jewlery so its in the one place.
i know one box is in the spare room currently housing electrical carp that needs sorting, so that can be decanted into an empty plastic washing basket, and i *think* there might be a couple more in the small outhouse so will check that out tomorrow pm after my ikea trip

I'll find out when OH wants to eat, so I can plan around it. I want to put our old house phone on freegle and carry on decluttering. Also could do with calling on friends for a cuppa and to get their phone numbers for my new sim card and new to me phone.
Well, none of this has happened yet, except sorting food for tea. I had just finished eating when a friend from Germany rang. We've been friends since our late teens, but hadn't spoken in over a year and I was so pleased to hear from her. I still can't stop grinning. Another person who is encouraging me to do what I think is right.
Oh, DS2's tooth has come out, too. He's much happier now and has eaten a bit more. I suspect that I'll be giving DS1's GF a lift in a minute, as it's raining heavily, and then I'll see what I can do. Won't be late to bed tonight, though. x0 -

Hugs to you and your DS, valli. Nothing that can't be mended, I hope!
OH and I loved David Eddings, too, hex. Have you read 'The redemption of Althalus'? And what were the books LW mentioned, please? I'm on Isabel Allende at the moment, with various thrillers to follow.
Sending smooth moving day vibes to aj and holly.0 -

Valli - my results weren't good enough but I went to uni the following year and met some great people who I still see 8 years on. I wouldn't have met them if I'd got the results I wanted.
Goodnight all, I'm shattered after removing the last bit of wallpaper in the kitchen and then gave the kitchen a good clean - floor to do tomorrow.
:hello:good night x0
