    A large overspend but quite a few big purchases that had to be bought.

    really have to do better as this sort of overspend is rediculous. (tho looking at week 8 so far... it's not going well.)

    I think after next pay day (2 weeks time) I am going to go back to a big shop (even if just on baby stuff and washing powder etc).

    Week 8- a summary

    Another bad week ..... Am finding this SOOO hard!! Am hoping it will actually be easier when I go back to work as I won't have so much "lets just go to the shops" time. Esp as it'll be too cold to venture out in my lunch breaks..... trouble is I hate sandwiches so am thinking I may stock up on tins of spaghetti and sausages (any ideas the cheapest place??)

    I know we spent a lot on clothes (probably could have done without but then I would have bought them at full price in a few weeks time). And I STILL need work trousers - just can't find ANY that fit properly.

    Christmas/ Birthdays are also using a lot of money but DS1's Birthday is now sorted (just a cake to get) and a few small bits for hubby. Also the majority of Christmas is now sorted too.

    Targets:

    Food shopping = £37.73/ £20
    Baby shopping = £18.35/ £20
    Other essential shopping (cleaning products etc) = £0/ £0

    Random = £20.01/ £30
    Days out = £0/ £20

    meals out/ takeaways = £16.96/ £20
    Clothes = £19.10/ £0
    Presents (birthday/ Christmas) = £47.36/ £20

    Total Spent = £169.40/ £130
