Pub lunch was a killer as it cost twice as much as i would like to have spent.

I went to a local chain pub in the week and paid for lunch for me and my friend and it cost the small matter of £14 odd  The food was ok although the chips were disappointing. If we went to a proper pub then I expect lunch would have cost much more. The price racked up because I had a side order and a J20 which for once was full price at £1.75 which is a lot in my opinion. I should have had a cup of tea !

Our visits to the pub used to be a weekly thing but its more likely every other week now because the cost soon adds up.

it's hideous... £1.75 that's cheap :D i had to have a j2o in that pub as they have cheap nasty coke _pale_ not sure what it cost but i think it was around £8 for a fruit shoot, j2o and a beer.

coulda gone to a fast food joint that always annoys me for half the price.

  • Sunday 11th September

Managed to escape the mad house for a couple of hours (YAYAYAYAY)......... but only to go to the shops :(

No appointments available at my local Specsavers (but :j I found my £10 eye test voucher) so made it for Tuesday.

Got some food shopping in T's = £11.11 (but I had 2x £2.99 smoothie vouchers, 2 were on offer for £5 so an extra 98p off shopping - every little helps). Therefore total = £5.13
few christmas pressies (stocking fillers) = £6.49

then onto home bargains = 79p on pressies. £2.77 on a jigsaw for DS2 and teething keys for DS1 and popcorn to take to cinema next week.

looked at the trousers I wanted but was gutted I could do up size 10's yet moving may have been a problem so gonna hold out another month and pray I have slimmed up a bit more. did manage to get DS1 some much needed slippers in Wyndsors for only £2.50 so happy with that..... except they don't fit (despite being a size bigger then his foot size) so going in the box for when DS2 is older.

Have got round to sorting out my pressie box and making my lists (tho have just realised am missing a load of bits..... hmmmmm must be in another box.....)
