    Monday 24th October

    Today HAS to be bargain central day!! Took the ebay stuff to the postoffice which is based within a co-op. Toddlerwiggle decided he needed more to eat (hollow legs - he'd already eaten an entire greggs sausage roll) so I said i'd buy him something.... walked past the clearance stand and couldn't believe my eyes that tinywiggles baby milk powder (£6.99 a tub that lasts 1 week) was :money:HALF PRICE:money: becuase they don't stock it. I couldn't grab all 5 off the shelf fast enough. :mad:I found this AFTER I'd paid full price for one in boots but hey ho. So I may have blown the baby budget this week but have saved myself £18 over the next 2 months!

    Also went to poundland on the hunt for a DVD drive cleaner (nearly died last night when the boys tv/dvd combi stopped working and thought I was going to have to find/ use vouchers for £100 new one.) didn't get one there but did get a few other housey/ baby bits

    i did actually manage to get one tho in another shop for £2 - and it worked YAYAYAY so money is safly tucked away for future.

    Targets:

    Food shopping = £2
    Baby shopping = £29.84
    Other essential shopping (cleaning products etc) = £6

    Random = £0
    Days out = £0

    meals out/ takeaways = £0

    It was telling how long it has been since I have done any money management when I tried to open my money spreadsheets and couldn't remember the passwords !

    Need to get back on to it with you know what around the corner - have only just paid off last years!!!

    I've started a thread on the Food shop and groceries board here
    can you share your expertise please as I often see your meal plans posted and I would be interested to know what system you have in place.
