Can I have a number pretty please? :D

I bought the kit from Ebay, cost about £4.99. If you PM me your email address I can send you a copy of the chart if you'd like. :)

Its supposed to be like this when finished:

I'll look it up, I'm sure it's featured.

I've no time at all today... Got old friend coming to stay over... She's never visited me before, she's lovely, but lives in a million pound house which is stunning. Yes her house has been a building site with dogs and horses all over for years, but still I feel the pressure to be as sorted as I can be. Why that involved emptying a bookcase full of boxes at 11pm I don't know!

Despite a huge headache yesterday I did manage the 8 mile walk. So feel good about that.

Hello all! I've been getting lovely cross stitch gifts from a family friend for a few years now and am interested at having a go. Can anyone recommend any easy instruction videos/cheap kits. I've seen some for £2 on eBay but I have no idea how difficult/good they will be.
:T hello! I started by buying a mag that came with a cover kit that I liked. It gave me instruction, needle, thread, fabric, and lots of inspiration for future projects. YouTube will have videos to watch for free.
I could scan a How To page from a mag if u'd like? Will have to be tomorrow at earliest, sorry.
Ooh, how about asking your family friend for a teaching session?

Yes, I've registered but I have no idea what I'm supposed to do with it. Well, not what really, but why on earth I should bother. Obviously, I'm missing something...

I must admit I didn't get it either really. If I come across a pic online of something I like, maybe to use as a screensaver, I save it to my pc. No need for an outside site.

Sophieandemily. Those finished pieces are lovely!

    Augustsmummy. Lottie is cute!

    Chicky. Nice progress!

AFM. Got some stitching done yesterday, Tiger now has most of an ear :D I seem to have gotten used to stitching the opposite way to how I prefer quite quickly. Not sure yet if I will complete the Tiger this way or change back to preferred way once the face is done.
When hubby first saw the new frame on the stand he said he didn't know that frames came in widescreen :rotfl:

  • Afternoon fellow stitches
Thank you all for your kind complements on lottie :o was feeling a bit stressed with it (backstitch woes lol). I will send ;) to all who requested as soon as my scanner starts playing ball!

Lottie now has a wand, so just stars, backstitch and lettering to do :j.
Hope everyone is having a productive day
