Hi to the newbies!maria_and_the_imps wrote: »everyone meet poppy she is 11 weeks old and is a fiery shouldered conuar, you cant see it in this photo but she has bright red at the top of her wings
She's gorgeous! I keep thinking about getting a bird or two but the possibility of it/them pooping when free flying round the lounge puts me off
Emma. Your HAED is coming along nicely, I love the colours! Can you remind me what the design is called please, I want to see the finished piece.
PP. Just incase I don't get on tomorrow....Happy Birthday!
As for me.....is hubbys 40th today and bless him he came to Addenbrookes with me for my yearly smear and checkup.
Having a chinese takeout for birthday tea with choccy cake for afters so looking forward to that! :T
Went to Barhill Tescos while in Cambridge and spent some of my carbooty money on a couple of tops so as not to waste it on rubbish.
And to keep on topic I won a giraffe kit on ebay yesterday so very pleased with myself:heart2: Love isn't finding someone you can live with. It's finding someone you can't live without :heart2:0 -

Thanks. That's a stunning design!
Here if anyone else wants to see.
Emma. Links are easy once you know how
You can either just copy & paste the web link from the address line like this http://heavenandearthdesigns.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=160_12&products_id=3946
or to make the link in a word like I have above you highlight the word you want the link to go into then click on the icon at the top of this reply box that looks like an earth with a chain in front of it. A box will pop up, delete the highlighted http that comes up in that box, paste your address and hit ok. Finish your reply and that should work.:heart2: Love isn't finding someone you can live with. hi everyone, esp those feeling under the weather, porley and also newbies! Happy Birthday to OHs, and good luck with last days of summer holiday, and with Drs trips... and everything else i might have forgotten x
i'm loving reading about handfastings.. .it's what OH and I will do eventually. we've been together 8 years, best mates before that, mortgaged for 7 years, engaged for 3 i think... we'll get around to it one day. the handfasting and the music are the only bits so far that we agree on! (Me: all our friends there, probably a wood or a field, circus big top, live band, hog roast/tarteflettie) (Him: nice country house, big banquet, disco, live band).
i'm still in this odd restless funk. shame i was suposed to be working today. anyway, has anyone come accross these designs before?

(they also have a cheaper version c.3quid with just the tardis and Drs 9,10,11).
and then at the opposite end of the hardness scale (well, opposite for me!) i've noticed HEAD do bookmarks! (called storeykeepers) much more my size... i'm loving the green man and this one http://heavenandearthdesigns.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=85&products_id=1805
has anyone done a Pixel People or a small HEAD before?Relax, Breathe, Love 2014 Challenges:Cross Stitch Cafe Challenger 23. Frugal Living Challenger. No buying cleaning products. I used MSE advice to reduce my car insurance from 550 to 325!! & paid it off in full!!!0 -

A friend pointed out the easy chart of the modern doctors was free... I looked, I was hopeful... But what he meant I think is that they give a nice clear photo IUSWIM. Oh ethics! I respect the designer too much for that. Someone on flickr said they bought the firefly one, and made the dr who one themselves... Obvious that they didn't due to it being exactly the same as the chart, even the shades of brown! ( Still, might keep me going till payday!)
Emma, forgot to say your pic looks stunning, and bubbles I love that heart!Relax, Breathe, Love 2014 Challenges:Cross Stitch Cafe Challenger 23. Frugal Living Challenger. No buying cleaning products. I used MSE advice to reduce my car insurance from 550 to 325!! & paid it off in full!!!0 -
Oooh, those charts are fab! Not the Doctor Who ones (who's he?!) but the Star Wars one and the Breakfast Club charts are great for starters.0
