have a good bank hol monday all

What bank holiday!!! I was in training all day and my head is nipping me now - only two more days to go for it.
:rotfl::rotfl: You lot have me in stitches :rotfl::rotfl:

I thought we were always in stitches - cross stitches!
stressed.... just a tinyyyyy understatment

So toddlerwiggle has been in terrible 2 land all day - have lost count of how many time outs he's had.

tinywiggle has been in screamy land/ refusing to eat (but a quick feel of the gums and yes thats most defo a tooth poking thro so a quick dose of medicine soon put a stop to that (for a couple of minutes)
Anyways this morning he was happily laid on the floor playing with a nappy bag in each hand .... it was tres cute so I took a little video and uploaded it to my facebook page.
    Then I get:
    and
I went MENTAL at them. I mean I have already had 1 child and not killed him yet. I mean do they think I am 12 or something?? I was stood/ laid with him the entire time there is no way I would have left him alone with them. And !!!!!! a 4 month old baby is not about to learn "don't play with bags".... perhaps when he's 9 months old!!

They have since apologised that they didn't mean it to come out like that. but i am soooo :mad::mad:

And now DH has gone to the pub leaving me to do bedtime, thank fully **touch wood** they have both gone to sleeep - have put them both in the same room tonight for the first time.

right time to update my diary then I just may get round to actually doing some stitching.

!!!!!! - you were watching them all the time - not like you left them with the bags themselves. Some people can get so - errrr don't know what the word is for it ...

I've got a few of those mags. Tracked down some older issues for a blackwork chart I wanted. The *huge* real counties of Britain one. Didn't realise the mag was still going. You don't tend to find it in the shops.

Sounds intresting the real counties of Britain one.

Well its update time .... week one of little boy blue as hubby has nicknamed it.

Hope everyone is well - I am ok apart from my training and panicing about hubby with no job still.

    Kind wishes to all

hi new people.... someone remind me tomorrow to add you and give a number .....

    Suzy I have one word.....alll together now......*L..o..u..i..s..e*

Thanks SC and thankyou for the back up on fb :D was beginning to think it was just me that couldn't see a problem.

another night.......another lack of stitching.... ohhhh dear!!
loves how my "I've been censored" signature has been censored. LOL. Happy Christmas. :xmastree:
  • I stitched :j For an hour :o And you can see any difference :( I fear I will need to put this down to complete Mum's christmas gift.

Shelly, well done on the car boot, very good selling indeed.
Louise, glad you like the charts, I find them much bigger than HEAD's thouh. Unless I downloaded and printed my alice wrongShrug_by_melonhead_emotion.gif
Poppett, that Juicy Lucy design is very cute. Looks very hard with all the backstitch though...

Anyone know which magazine this chart is from? I would rather buy the whole mag if its cheaper on ebay than one chart. Thanks :A
  • hi guys!

had a weekend of wedding/handfasting planning with other half, telling mother-tron about it and getting.... well a lack luster responce at best.

And also me and OH made my birthday cake today (sweet and salty chocolate cake hummmingbird bakery.... nom NOM)

so not alot of stitching if I'm honest

I know theres been lots of chat and I will go back and have a propoer read in a bit.....

some on mentioned me about anchor skiens + ebay .....
yes didnt exactly get the colours I origionally ordered in either parcel from same ebayer, however they were very pleasant, have fully refuded me for one (that they couldnt supply origional colours due to stock issues) but the second one I kept. was a little bit of hassel but all in all its lots of skiens and keeps me quiet..... though I was tempted by that dmc spinnner......

    HI NEWBIES

awww chicky, sounds like party pooper friends and family, dont worry, I'm sure it was adorable.
(the looks my friend and I got ealier this summer when it was HOT and we had set the paddeling pool up and was just settling down to a very very weak tequilla sunrise while kiddies played. Took a photo and the face book reaction was a bit... over whelming. I do not advocate getting drunk as a skunk while kiddie minding. We weren't. NEither one of us can drive so we wouldnt have had to drive. It was one summery cocktail. But the reaction was like we hda been shooting up heroin.

errmmm... anything else I can rememmber to say? nope
business as normal at house of paradox tonight. OH has almost finished his Wii game so will probably have to find a new one soon. Birthday in 2 days so lots of family asking what I want.... which my resonce is "amazon wish list" which is a whole load of makey/bakey books. :D
    time to stitch.
I Love My Library....when I finish/don't like a book, no one gets upset when I return it!
    Starting 210
    7lbs this month = 5.5
    Total loss = 5.5
    Too many UFOs to count

Sorry to hear about the carpal tunnel, January must seem such a long way away - you will be counting down the days to get back to it after that

  • Helllllloooooo to our newbies and welcome to the cafe.

Ooooohhhhhh PP - sweet and salty chocolate cake -never tried it but there's a first time for everything. You mentioned choccy so it must be good. :D:D

My DH suffers with carpal tunnel suzy - he had ops on both hands and even though they are not perfect now they are still loads better than they were and he is glad he had the ops. Good luck for Jan.

Started a card for a friend tonight as she is having a rough time with her health. Decided to do one of the heart designs that came with CS Crazy I think. Will post a pic when its done.

Wow, it's taken me so long to catch up on what I missed that I've forgotten who I was going to reply what to!

Hello to all the newbies - love the sound of a tote bag made of aida - must lok into that maybe for someone for Christmas.

I love all the stitching thats gone on too, those Juicy Lucy designs look great - not seen those before so will go and have a look after I'm done here.

Not done much stitching of late (still) but only a few days away from finishing knitting the blanket and only a few days of decorating left for now so hoping to be properly back up and running again by the weekend.

Craft Club again tomorrow so i'm looking forwards to that. I believe we're able to make some needle books and pin cushions if we don't fancy doing our own thing so I think i'll be having a go at that.

Suzy - sorry to hear about the carpel tunnel - my mum has been suffering from that for the past year. Not nice :( If Louise or Maria don't fancy finishing your work (or anyone who's got there before me) I would love to do it.

Make the most of the short worky week everyone xx
