if it was proved maybe i would but how they going to do that without the driver saying he signed my sig therefore incriminating himself?

if anything comes to my door that requires a sig and is left outside in the eyes of the law i aint got it.... i must admit that i have explotied that law before now too.

I think most couriers charge business customers a redelivery fee nowadays. That way they can offer them a lowerstarting price for 1st delivery.

Poochal, glad its turned up. Make sure you follow up on your complaint otherwise it'll never get properly investigated.

In PF defence, a mate posted a parcel to me at 2pm in Norfolk on 9th Jan, and it arrived here, in East Sussex, by PF, unscathed, (and with no forged driver's signature), at 10am on 10th Jan............is this a record???????????

First point, No I didn't, and I have never done so, All I said was that I was aware it happens.

Second point, it is only fraud if you are doing it to obtain the goods, just signing the name is not fraud, you (the driver) would need to have kept the goods as well for it to have become fraud.

It's not just Parcelforce. This is from the UPS tracking site. I checked it yesterday morning and it said out for delivery, so decided ok I will need to stay in until it arrives. Did anyone turn up, no? I e-mailed them and got a robotic answer (from a human but using a template). Same thing happened today. Why say it is out for delivery and then don't deliver it? It's not even anything important but they wouldn't leave it with my flatmate on Monday  I have to be here on the off chance they will turn up between 9am - 5pm on any random day!?
