A handwritten signature does not guarantee identity to the person relying on a signed document. A handwritten signature is a powerful tool in favor of the signer, rather than in favor of the relying party.

The above was taken from here

    http://www.fipr.org/library/penop.html

Also I believe that a signature isnt worth anything if you dont personally date it.

    Hope this helps

Well my parcel arrived at 9.23 this morning. Shows that they can deliver, eventually. I will never knowingly use them again though.

Not sure what circumstances have changed to enable them to deliver to my office during office hours today, whereas last week they twice weren't able to deliver to my office during office hours and said 'attempted delivery - recipient not at home'.....I'll let you draw your own conclusions.

I am still going to complain to head office about a) the crap delivery service and b) the horrible attitude of the customer 'care' team, both at the call centre and at the depot itself.

I've just had two parcels lost by parcelforce, one had books in it and one had two old (one broken) laptops in it. I'm going to put a claim in but I need advise on the best way to claim? How does one prove value of items?
    ummm...
