Do not forget that reported profits is often merely a decision and is set using various accounting tools.
One would need to the see the books in detail to get a true picture.
Nevertheless those figures do not look too good.0 -
Would be VERY interesting to see if they have been paying VAT over the years - they could owe a pretty penny.
Anyone reported them for possibly not paying? Let's have a bit of a campaign and report all PPCs to the taxman - seeing as we know they typically hide behind telling the taxman their charges are 'exempt fines' even though they know full well they are not.
Where do we need to report them to, I seem to recall there was a contact name mentioned on the other thread about tax evasion by a PPC?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

The figures look slightly grim, you can leave comments on there also0

I agree that we need to make the government aware of lost VAT income as well as the scams run by the slime balls to whom they are possibly granting new powers. Whilst we are at it, perhaps we should make a list of BPA members that are in default of CCJs. This will hardly show the BPA in a good light.
The BPA and their associated trolls are going on about PPC charges being legitimate tarrifs and not penalties, this makes them liable for VAT then.Still waiting for Parking Eye to send the court summons! Make my day!0 -
On the subject of ParkingEye, I read that Consumer Focus Wales demanded 'commercially sensitive' information from this company at the start of the year. I wonder what all that was about?Still waiting for Parking Eye to send the court summons! Make my day!0

For those seeking more detailed advice and guidance regarding small claims cases arising from private parking issues I recommend that you visit the Private Parking forum on PePiPoo.com0 -
The solution is all of our hands.. Do not use businesses that employ dirty crooks to scam customers, shop somewhere else.
They will soon get the message.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0
