Where's Laney71 when you need him?
He'd know who to contact and what to expect as a result.
Anyone seen a paragraph?Space available for rent0 -
I have had the same experience as most other people on here. I replied to a text and after a brief chat with a friendly operator called Alex who told me on more than one occasion that my loan was "certain" and "guarenteed", he gave me repayment terms and amounts and said the funds would be in my bank in 3 to 5 days.
So I paid them the £79.99 fee, which I felt was reasonable for them doing all the leg work. The day after however I had no confirmation and when I rang I went straight to hold for nearly 10 minutes and was then told that there had been a duplicate application in my name and I had to wait 30 days!... dont think so sunshine! when I asked for my money back Mark (customer services) became a robot talking about refund proceedures and an 8 WEEK waiting time.
After a bit more digging, a lot of phone calls and a huge chunk of my time I found out the "lender" that Alex had found me a "guarenteed" loan with was actually another broker (quote4cash) and he had therefore lied to me about the loan in the first place which is fraud (to obtain by means of deceit).
I have now reported this company to the financial ombudsman, the office of fair trading, the police and action fraud. If I have anything to do with it this company will be stopped from trading ASAP and hopefully if there are a few reports about these people then fingers crossed someone will be going to jail.
These are hard times for a lot of people and all we want is some breathing room with our finances and these low lifes are exploiting peoples hardship for their own personal gain. They make me sick to my stomach and the worst part is anyone with a bit of computer/internet literacy can set up these companies and scam the unsuspecting without fear of reprocussion. If I decieved the bank out of money I would have to go to prison, the same should apply to all these payday lenders and brokers who are doing nothing but prey on the innocent and needy. If anyone has information regarding the same company and same treatment that they would like to share then I am happy to spend my spare time gathering evidence for the OFT and action fraud to stop these people. We need to unite against these less than reputable "brokers"

What we need to do is stop people like yourself responding to unasked for text messages in the first place. If this firm had been genuine, they would not have been using illegal methods of advertising."There are not enough superlatives in the English language to describe a 'Princess Coronation' locomotive in full cry. We shall never see their like again". O S Nock0 -

A lesson on the use of paragraphs would be nice to.
Really can't be bothered to try reading that block of text in post 73.0 -

You "Really can't be bothered to try reading that block of text" yet you can be bothered to reply with unhelpful nonsense. I am trying to help other people by warning them of the dangers of these companies and even help them to get their money back and all you can comment about is grammar???
If you cant reply with something helpful then its probably best you dont reply at all.0 -

You posted because you want to "help people" - how do you help them by making it imposisble to read what you've posted.
Oh and it's an open forum - I will reply to whatever posts I like and post what I like (within the forum rules) - if you don't like it then perhaps you shouldn't post in public.
As poppasmurf said - people need to learn not to respond to unsolicited text messages and emails. It's not rocket science.0 -
That's going some though chrisjuk12.
2 posts, one unreadable and the second slagging off a fellow poster.
Now how helpful are they ?
Here's a helpful hint though, try looking on this forum, before, you hand out your details to anyone who asks.Space available for rent0 -
And added to that, I've just had a private message from him calling me a moron and complaining about drivel on this forum.
Some people just don't want to be helped."There are not enough superlatives in the English language to describe a 'Princess Coronation' locomotive in full cry. We shall never see their like again". O S Nock0 -

I would say that the moron is the person who goes around giving their card details to random unknown companies because they promise them a loan. :cool:0 -

Part of the problem is those who go looking for a loan have blinkers on I guess as they are desperate to get the loan for whatever the emergency is.0
