Ok Stevie, can I ask you this question (again, to save time, feel free to just say no, not answering).
If these looters and criminals had smashed into your loved ones houses, would you feel the same as you do? Would you be suggesting the police were too heavy handed and these people that set fire to your loved ones houses and posessions are to be sheltered from any injuries they may receieve as part of trying to stop the criminality?
Someone asked a leftie this (was an american show, where they had dragged some extreme leftie in, condmening the police for their actions etc)....the bloke simply couldn't answer, and after about 5 secs of "well err", simply responded "I'm not here to talk about personal issues".
Always different when its YOUR house, and life possesions being burnt down.0 -

What has the police being too heavy handed got to do with stopping benefits? My personal view is I am quite happy if they use Water canon, Batons, Mustard gass or whatever. I am not too keen on them beating up young kids though like some on here seem to advocate.'Just think for a moment what a prospect that is. A single market without barriers visible or invisible giving you direct and unhindered access to the purchasing power of over 300 million of the worlds wealthiest and most prosperous people' Margaret Thatcher0 -
I never used the word all or easy (but it was fairly easy to strip a shop IMHO).;)
That was caused by lack of numbers, they had to make decisions on how best to utilise their numbers. I don't think it is fair to attck the police like this.'Just think for a moment what a prospect that is. Think you are going a bit far with the "some on here seem to advocate beating up young kids".
Don't think anyone is advocating that.
What people are advoating is if that kid is mature enough, big enough, and old enough to throw bottles, poles, metal objects and firebombs at the police, they are also old enough to feel the force of a batton across the back of their legs to knock them to the ground.
Old enough to have a sheild slammed into their body to push them to the floor.
Old enough to be charged AND taken down with force.
Old enough to be caught and taken to the ground WITH force if they are known have injured police, dogs, and horses or are about to carry out a criminal, violent act.
No one has even suggested simply walking up to a kid and "beating them up".0 -

You could always go the whole Hog and copy some of these nations who think we are a bit soft. Many of "the killables" are no more than children who've been driven on to the city's streets by the crushing poverty and violence of their homes in the sprawling slums – or favelas – that stretch back from the city.

From twitter:
@GuidoFawkes Guido Fawkes
e-Petition calling for benefits to be removed from rioters has reached 100,000 and been passed to parliament.
Passed to Parliament isn't quite right though, unfortunately.0 -

Just a drop of common sense answers both your questions.
If somebody is writing something that they hope to get 99,999 people to support it helps their cause immensely if they right it well so there's no ambiguity. How much effort is it to spend 10mins & get a mate to sanity check what you've written?
How would your boss/customers react if you wrote someting that badly at work?0
