It is not about turning a blind, you can take your own retribution that would be more effective than the courts. It is about not putting a stain on your child's record (if possible) that may follow him, if not for life certainly for the next few years. Then again you takes your choice.
Ha Ha! This takes me back to my childhood - I can imagine my father saying to me "You turn yourself in, or it's a thrashing from me". I think I'd have preferred the long arm of the Law, to the long arm of my father.
In fact, he wouldn't have given me the choice. I'd have been turned in 'For my own good' and 'To teach me some values'.0 -
Do you guys support keeping them employed until jailed??

I just thought I would highlight your point's.
So Lets put this in context.
You would be happy for a parent to actively stop their child facing the law if say that offence was someone knocking over and nearly killing one of your loved ones (god I hope it never happens). Providing the parent punished them?
Where do we draw the line on braking the law and punishment, is it ok to break the law if it is your own family?
Tell you what why don't you actually get things in context, and no I wouldn't, my family or someone elses. So if your child scratches someones car you will march them down to the police station and ask for them to be charged for malocious damage?'Just think for a moment what a prospect that is. A single market without barriers visible or invisible giving you direct and unhindered access to the purchasing power of over 300 million of the worlds wealthiest and most prosperous people' Margaret Thatcher0 -

Well it is fairly clear they can only do it if it is fairly certain it is bringing the company in to disrepute.
If you are charged and admit to it or are still going to have some kind of offence against you what is the problem if you signed a contract.
I presume you like the employment rights that protect you, why should employers not have some also???0 -
Yes I do unless we have a guilty plea, it is what being Brit is all about;)
Magna Carta and all that:) BTW I notice a few of those MP's still around.
As posted elsewhere, I find the clamour by MP's to condemn the abhorrent criminality (& label certain classes as criminal) and to get onto the moral high ground to be oh so hypocritical I nearly fell offuv me chair.
I mean come on! What have MP's been up to for the past how many years? In covert ways? Criminality of the highest order methinks. Off to the tower with you! It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.0 -

Mmm interesting comparison. Well if it was accidental I would not but stump up the damage.
If it was deliberate I would leave it up to the owner.0 -

Congratulations you have just supported a person who killed two children while over the Drink Drive limit and a convicted sex offender.
One even admitted guilt before court.
You should think long and hard about your life and how crime effects others.
Imagine the pain it would cause the parents of the dead children should the player keep his job until court.
Don't worry innocent until proved even if you are pleading guilty!

Why would you leave it to the owner? I thought it was the child's moral upbringing that was at stake here? I would dock the repairs from their pocket money, punishment nicely fitting the crime.'Just think for a moment what a prospect that is. That has F all to do with signing a contract!
Are you acting a bit dumb on this.
You support sex attackers and drink drivers until they are banged up.
What about the sex offender who raped children at the nursery?
Keep them employed until in jail.
I don't know where to start.0
