  • It is so good to come back to work not worrying about "over spending" and knowing that I have still stuck to the plan. Nothing has changed and I was pleasantly surprised to have received £67 from HSBC for a complaint letter I wrote to them 6 months ago. It has taken them so very long to resolve and address the matter that I forgot about my claim.

Well that is £67 in to my pot of good fortune.

  • I decided to pay the £67 on my NWest CC and I have just called Halifax and it looks like my Ultimate reward account will cover me for boiler repair on the Home Emergency Cover. :T

Fingers crossed, this will be a happy outcome.

  • Still on track and am feeling in control, today I have had the remarkable revelation that I can do this no trouble and almost month by month I will be crossing off debt and credit/store cards.

There is nothing like being in total control and seeing results.

2013 is the year to gain peace of mind once again.

  • Dear diary,

Been very good today. Woke at 6am to do a circuits workout and back on my low carb diet as I have now 11lbs to loose thanks to C'mas and the silly season.

This evening I must buy sensitive cat food for Lillybud and more Loo roll. Goodness me my house of three girls can eat up loo roll.

  • Back at gym last night and will keep going as paying every month and not reaping the benefit is a "wast" of money and with this years budget there is no way I will be prepared to waste money.

  • Dear Diary,
Have done my MrT. shopping for week 3 and am still on budget. This may be the only the very beginning of 2013 but if I keep disciplined, post updates regularly, this will help to keep me focused and out of debt trouble.

    Groceries week 3- £41.13
    Odds and ends- £13.38

Probably can cut down a little more but am still on budget.:T
