Panic_Central wrote:Has anyone ever won anything on My Offers? (Sorry if this has already been discussed). I enter every competition on there pretty much (the odd one or two I ignore because I'm not interested in prize & couldn't sell it or think of anyone to give it to!) but I have never won anything! Been doing it for a long time too!
Thanks

I would like to have a go at entering comps but am not very organised. How do you all remember what you have entered, when the comps close etc?
So far I have entered a dozen or so, but wonder if I should have been keeping a note of them. That makes it more time consuming though.... ?
Any advice or tips would be gratefully received. Even the very obvious ones!!
Thanks...0 -
I personally don't keep a note, as there is too many and it would take too long. Plus the liklihood of you winning loads of comps is slim. I find it useful to thank people that have posted comps and then if I cannot remember whether I have entered I look back to see if I thanked them or not.0

I click the thanks button for every comp i enter on here so i know i've entered it0 -
I never keep a note, although I know many compers do,especailly for tie breakers, so that they remember their winning entry. I just tend to click thanks button.0

After reading through these forums for the last few weeks i see quite a few of the more hardcore compers take away several wins a month, i was just wondering do you guys just do the comps that come up on MSE or are there other websites that i don't know about that offer a large compilation of competitions?
After reading through here i am thinking about entering comps on a regular basis and maybe taking part in the comping challenge (btw how do i go about competing in that?), any advise you can offer would be gratefully received0 -

The best ones you can enter are in your local paper. Theres enough comps on here to keep you going through.2008 Comping ChallengeWon so far - £3010 Needed - £230Debt free since Oct 20040

I mainly enter comps on here, although I do use other sites too. As BS says, your best chances of winning are with your local paper. You can go through some 'dry' periods where you get nothing for ages. I used to comps more seriously and do postcard and entry form comps too. I used to win 2 -3 prizes per week. Now I tend to stick to local aper and online comps as I have less time.0
