I've just opened a folder, with sub folders for each month, in Bookmarks (firefox), and when I enter a comp that ends in the distant future, I've bookmarked it into End of whichever month, so am going to see if that works.
Doesn't take too long to do.

Wow that sounds really really clever and far too complicated for me, just turning the computer on, getting to this site and then on top of that having to find my way to this part of the site is taxing enough for me. I think I'll stick to pen and paper, much simpler!!:rolleyes:

It took me a while to venture on to the bookmarks tool at the top of the page - scary, as I am always wary of pressing anything for fear of writing everything off!!!

I only try to enter comps once. Takes long enough entering all that come up on here once.

I only enter them once, maybe that's why i am not winning!

I enter about 10 comps per day and have been doing since beginning of Jan and so far i haven't won anything yet. Hopefully my luck will change soon.

My mum and I often do local newspaper spot the ball competitions, but very rarely win even a runners up prize, Do any of you lovely people have any tips on winning at spot the ball comps ? In one of the papers one woman seems to win one prize nearly every week and not just the runners up prizes, so surely there must be a knack that I dont know about unless in this paper it is just a con, a made up name or someone that knows someone who works for the publication.

I used to get a ruler out and draw lines in pencil in the directions where they were all looking and where they all met up I would put a cross and then rub all the lines out. I won £10 doing it that way once :rotfl:

I try never to enter a comp twice, and If I think I may be about to (there are so many it can be confusing) I usually use the other half's details (she don't mind! ). It would be awful to be selected as a major prize winner to be disqualified because of a second entry (and this does happen, saw it on TV).

Enter them in your friends or families names, you could alway go with them if they win a vacation!

Always check the T&C's, most will say one per person, not per email!

Do like I do, enter them and forget them! You only want to hear about the ones you win anyway!

Over the years I've won hundreds & hundreds of prizes (luxury ski vacation to Keystone, Vale, Colorado two weeks ago).

That's nothing to what some of my friends win in a year!

I read somewhere that the ball must be in an area with an open background. i.e not against the crowd or stand, but as I have never one. I do not know if this is correct

Use more than ONE email address and if possible use different spellings of your address.
It works for me . Like comperking I have one lots of comps-
