Oh lets be honest, It's not just tickets, Compers enter for lots of things they've never even considered having before there happened to be a comp on it, of course we all do it, whether it's a dvd/cd of a film we've never heard of, or some gadget or other. Of course we can all say "I only enter for things for myself or togive to family/friends", kind of lets you of the hook conscious wise, but we all know sometimes the real reason is just to be able to win something.0

i enter some things just to win and some things i desperatly want but if i stuck to just things i wanted id never win as they are the same everyone else wants to win. i enjoy winning nights out but havnt been able to go to lot because of the notice given to go. cant go to london for 7 when i got the email at 2 but others i have given away to people. i always try to let someone else use it if i cant.
its not selfish just honest if i knew i really couldnt go i wouldnt enter though but things do happen that mean you cant when you want to.
i should be going out tonight but i cant go as my husband got promoted so im not moving any more. only got told 5 days before we were due to moveback to comping in 2017, fingers crossed :beer:0 -
Can we have a separate area for daily entries please? Then people won't need to keep bumping these comps. There are quite a lot of them about at the moment.
Once the comp has ended it can be moved to Game Over like once-only entry competitions.

It is a good idea but would mean more work for the mods. I'd offer to look after it myself but doubt that you can just be given mod privileges for one thread and they're not going to want to let me loose on the whole board, unless I go through the proper channels I guess.
Actually: How about I start a post on the regulars board, and just update the first post with links to any current daily ones?I've been lucky, I'll be lucky again. ~ Bette Davis0 -

That's a generous offer :T & a good idea, I think there will need to be 1 post on the normal comps board for people to find the thread on the regular comps board. Still that would only mean bumping 1 daily thread per day & keep the one in the regs updated?0 -

HERE'S A link to Julian Johnsons 'All-In-Won' comping site, You'll find access to his 'A to Z' listings of "nearly every" company website, with lots, I mean LOTS of possible on-line comp links to search through.
You can also email him for a free back issue of his comping mag.
