Can confirm that it worked fine in store on all both 3 for 12 and 2 for 10!

Just come back from shopping and bought:

    2 x vin de malbec @ £7.79 (2 for £10)
    6 x Vina albi @ 5.99 (3 for £12)

    discounts 2 for 10 -£5.58
    3 or 12 -£11.94
    Wine discount (25%) -12.88

    total savings -£30.40

    Wee-hee!

I haven't tried the Albi, but it 'feels' good. We use a rule of thumb for unknown wine that if they have bothered to put it in a good bottle (bit indent underneath) then it is probably ok. If the bottle is flat on the bottom it is a cheap bottle, and might be a reflection on the wine as well.... HTH!

...also in Chich3ster, no mini's on offer.
    :)

does the deal work if you buy 8 bottles of wine?

As I posted above I scanned 6 finest Malbec which were 2 for £10 but the total to pay was £24

doesn't sound quite right though - if both discounts were working it should have been £18.32. 3 x £10 - the 25% discount on the full price of 6 bottles at £11.68.

    So with the £10 meal deal I would get;

    6 x Pizzas @ £5 = £30.00
    6 x Side dishes @ £2.99 = £17.94
    6 x Desserts @ £3.29 = £19.74
    6 x bottles of wine @ £9.99 = £59.94

Total cost £60 (total 'value' of £127.62)

Wine discount based on Pinot Grigio @ £9.99 = £14.99

Total outlay £45.01; theoretical discount of £82.61
I didn't do it, nobody saw me do it, you can't prove a thing! ;)
    Quidco and Topcashback, £4,569
    Shopandscan, £2,840
    Tesco Double The Difference, £2,700
    Thomson EU261/04 Claim, £1,700
    British Airways EU261/04 Claim, EUR1200

Total spend £25.12 for the 8 bottles :T

The Malbec is lush but the Albi is bog cleaner (IMHO)

Thank you :) I have read some reviews and the wine is meant to be quite nice, I am having a party so dont want to spend too much, has anyone tried the wine?

Sorry not tried it - but are you aware that its a lower alcohol wine at only 8%?

I can't decide (or work out!) whether to go for 6 meal deals or just 6 bottles of wine?
Which do you think is better value?
"Buy me, Lady", said the frock, "and I will make you into a BEAUTIFUL & WHOLE & COMPLETE human being".
"Do not be silly", said the Man, "for a frock alone cannot do that".
"True", said the Lady, "I will have the shoes and the bag as well".
