Afternoon all,
Still not feeling well so not very much done.
I did, however think I needed to go shopping, but have just done an inventory of my fridge, freezer and store cupboard and it took up 4 pages in my notebook
the only thing I don't have is milk  But I don't think I need to go shopping just yet!!! :rotfl: and that pic only shows the stuff from my cupboard - I have a fridge and a freezer full too
I've caught OH out too!! Right at the back of the top shelf I found chocolate spread and peanut butterBoth substances that have been banned from our household... He didn't think I'd be able to find them as I'm too short, but we recently acquired some rather sturdy chairs!! Words will be had when he gets home :rotfl:
Now I just need to work out how to get all that stuff back into the double cupboard it came out of  Think I need to pop over to the storecupboard challenge thread....
Not had chance to read the thread yet, but :grouphug: to anyone and everyone who feels like they need one!!
Have a good friday!

Afternoon everyone. I finally got back from taking the parents shopping although I tripped over one of those round step jobbies in Tesco and have taken all the skin off my shin.
I did pick up some really good bargains there though. I've got sirloin steaks for valentines day, a duck for easter, a christmas cake mix, chestnut puree, apricot glaze, cranberry sauce in a kilner jar and luxury bread sauce mix. Plus 18 pints of organic milk reduced to 24p for 2pts. Also got 5 10m rolls of wrapping paper reduced to 24p, gift tags, christmas cards and 2 Chilly toys for 64p each.
Even with my normal shopping in the basket too the whole lot came to £20. I managed to use one voucher at the checkout. Now I have 15 minutes before I have to go and collect DD from school so I may go and unload the dishwasher which I didn't get chance to do this morning.Organised people are just too lazy to look for things

By the way, if anyone sees an obvious meal jumping out from the "goodies" on that picture, let me know as I'm a bit rubbish at being creative!! :rotfl:0

Hello everyone!
I'm not doing anything today... my fatigue has basically taken me on and I'll be sleeping/resting most of the day! I knew it was coming, but wanted to get some more housework done before it did come along!
So it's a weeked of not doing much for me... I drove into town today as couldn't walk... couldn't find the knitting mag so am gonna call WHSmiths to put one by. Wanted some nice gel pens but the only ones I could find were so expensive for what they are... ugh! Not even Mr T had any... should've got the ones I saw in Woolies but was too knackered to walk back there... perhaps I'll go there tomorrow, who knows.

Afternoon Guys!
All very quiet here today. Nothing much to diverse. Did have an optician appointment later but have cancelled as not feeling well. DD still going though.
OH may go to Makro later as there are some offers we need to get. They will probably have some good offers, so will wait and see. Both ebay parcels sent off and sold another item this afternoon-ebay is going well again:D Transfered the money over, so thats £70 towards me rad covers! Still have about £15 in there incase we NEED anything off ebay:p
Also have some jeans that need to go back to TKMaxx, which is next to Makros at Greenwich, so hopefully OH can do that at same time?
We are visiting OH's cousin, wife and kids on Sunday and they live on the coast. Havent seen them in 8 months so their baby is not such a baby now. Be nice to catch up.
Received £8.25 in vouchers this morning. Have £40 towards next week shop, so will shop at Waitrose and buy some meat, fish and poultry for the freezer and storecupboard essentials that wont date for a while. Need to spend £80 to get the £40 off, but only £40 to pay-so i dont mind! Will get ham, cheese etc and freeze. Their meat and poultry is excellent quality and only paying 50% woks out cheaper than the value lines;)
Also received the final bill from switching electric companies-so had to pay £135 too that:eek:
I'd best go and do a cupa for the SIL:rolleyes: ....hugs to all.

Good Afternoon everyone,
Thanks Twink for posting about the french bread, I will take a look at the link later on.
I've just popped onto the board quickly while my DH is still out playing golf.
I've set the recorder to tape the 'Grow your Own Vegetables' programme tonight, as this is something that I am definitely interested in trying, but I think that I will start off small scale and do some in pots. I liked the suggestion that someone made the other day (Mrs Froogle?) about growing tomatoes in hanging baskets.
I'm glad that it's now the weekend, it seemed such a long week. I need to write down my list of things that I wish to try and work on this weekend, some household jobs and some more fun activities such as playing the keyboard (I need to dust it first!), reading, etc. Oh well, it's time for me to wander off and start some washing, put the BM on etc.
I hope that all who are feeling unwell, or having a harrowing day, feel better soon. Take care,

drum roll please...............
I've got my new dishwasher! :j :T :j :j :T :T
Now I just need Comet to turn up tomorrow ( as promised ) to take away the knackered one. We've had the refund, so if they don't turn up I'll just leave it on the drive like the clampitts :rotfl:
Got a few jobs done today, dark load washed & drying, white load currently in, downstairs loo cleaned & spare bed made up for BiL. I'd really like to tackle the tip that is the spare bedroom too, but might not have time.
Healthy eating has gone well this week - we're not being obsessive about fat & calories, just trying to cut out all the junk & "extras". We've both got "eyes bigger than our bellies", as my Nana would have said & are trying to stop being so greedy. Fruit is the only snack allowed. Today I'm trying the "eat every 2 hours" trick, so 8.30 1 x toast, 10.30 muller lite yoghurt, 12.30 1 x cheese & salsa on toast, 2.30 apple, 4.30 satsuma, 6.30 dinner (no pud), 8.30 lemonade sparkle lolly (my one concession to sweet things - only 42 cals!)
Right off to crack on with some more work - I've never been so busy! As well as my usual 19 clients/sites to deal with I've got a new one to set up & a retender to submit! Oh joy!
Hugs to all0 -
Finished all my w*** so going home early! Will surprise the children being home before them! Intend to get a fire laid, spag bol in the Rayburn, bit of Flying, then get us ready for tomorrow. Need to leave at 7am. Earlier start than normal, but there's engineering works on the line we usually use into London Town, so going to St Pancreas instead. If we leave any later, we get no time in the smoke, so not much point going.
Roz, can't see much of what you have, so can I recommend tea bag pasta?
See you all later, Penny. x:rudolf: Sheep, pigs, hens and bees on our Teesdale smallholding :rudolf:0 -

Roz,
I don't suppose milky way spread sandwiches would count as a suggestion would it? :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:You laugh because I'm different - I laugh because you're all the same0
