:hello: Have fun Pen Pen!! Enjoy the train journey, if you're anything like me, you'll use the time to do something on the journey ;) :rotfl:

Thanks, Queenie! First job will be a bacon roll and hot choc, with the Guardian puzzles (3 of them, these days). When they're done, I have some knitting, and may even talk to DH and the small penguins :D  Like you, can't bear a long journey with nothing to occupy me. DH on the other hand will sit and think (or sometimes just sit :rotfl: :rotfl: ) for the whole time.

    Hugs to Annie.

    Good morning everyone,

(((HUGS))) to all who need one today, or who would like one xxx

Well, 2 children here today, but both should be gone by 4.30, so that will be a shorter day for me. Flylady says its the bedrooms but i wont be able to do them because of the little one so will be sorting out my kitchen today - i didnt get round to doing any hot spots yesterday, and its amazing how much stuff accumalates in a day that needs sorting out!!!! Will be doing the bedrooms tomorrow.
Nothing much planned, although if the rain holds off, we might go for a little walk - do have a letter i need to post so a walk to the postbox would be useful.
Right, off for a quick browse before little one gets here - just after 8 today.

Hope everyone has a lovely day
    Take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

    'Morning everyone!

Late start for me this morning - I'm usually up and about before 6 am but I just rolled over and went back to sleep. Back at w**k on Monday so I decided to take advantage of having a lie in before I go back :D

Did the monthly shop last night, plus the weekly fruit and veg. Don't need any meat this month as the freezer is full. Today I'm going to make an odds and ends soup with the left over veggies from last week - I'll probably throw in a few lentils too.

Have a lovely OS day everyone :D
Enjoying an MSE OS life :D

    Morning everyone

My last post again for a bit as computer going away **again** today to get fixed.

Off for some food shopping this morning. Don't need too much - mainly stuff for packed lunches for school and hubby's work starting again on Monday.

Really must tackle the ironing pile but until I run completely out of clothes that job always seems to get put off ;)

Nothing else needing done. When I was at work Tuesday and Wednesday hubby cleaned and tidied the whole house (to my surprise).

Have a great day everyone :D

    Goodmorning everyone,

Just got back from the house and took the washing off the line and now getting on tea. Sausages & mash tonight. Then back off to do more work at the house. Forgot the camera :doh:so will do that on the weekend.

Annie Hugs to you & try some concealer. It usually works miracles. Or maybe putty if that fails. :D

Pink Hope you can grab some bargains.

Well, well, well, 5 - 0 hey. What can I say :think: to make you feel better for that sort of humiliating loss. :D Mmmmmmmmmmmmm NOTHING :rotfl: So instead I will say what a absolutely fantastic win we had. :D

Hope you all have a lovely day and ((((((((((hugs)))))))))) to those feeling under the weather.
Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia. ;)

    Morning all.

Off to w*** in a mo.

Just thought I'd sort the washing and put the first load of the weekend on before I go.

best wishes to all. Amie I hope your mouth gets better.

AnnieStar - thoughts are with you.

Pen-Pen - totally jealous of your trip to the theatre. I do like Tamsin Greig.

Can't remember who complained about good telly being on too late. I totally agree - I'm usually stuck for something to watch and then stuff starts at 9 or 10 and doesn't finish til 11 or later. 10 is my bedtime I'm afraid. I wanted to watch Green Wing last night but I knew there was no way I'd make it to midnight.

Made some burgers for dinner tonight so just have to cook them and stick them in rolls with some salad and that's dinner sorted. But how will I do friday night without a glass of wine? Who said keep yourself occupied by doing the ironing?:rotfl: . I'll just bring out the knitting.

I need to get on to Conde Nast today. I got my sis a subscription to Vanity Fair for christmas and because it was cheaper to get 2 I got myself Easy Living at the same time (tell which of us has no kids and therefore time to read weighty articles;) ). But I've seen the Easy Living in the shops but not through my door -of course I can't find the confirmation email! I know the Vanity Fair's ok cos we got the card. And yesterday I got 2 diaries which had been part of the offer (only supposed to get 1). I'm waffling. Must stop.:o

Take care and have a good friday.

    Morning Everyone :)

Anniestar, I hope the day goes o.k for you. I find rimmel concealer brilliant for hiding things and cheap too!

Feeling quite upbeat today must be that friday feeling :). I haven't seen Oh for a few days and after we had our little barney at the beginning of the week the air has been cleared now and I can't wait to have a cuddle tonight (making up is always the best bit).

I'm making a proper Indian meal tonight so am going to have a pootle round a huge road of ethnic supermarkets we have here. I need chapatti flour and fenugreek seeds and I am really looking forwards to making something different tonight (veggie curry, lamb bhuna and pilau rice with chapattis).

I hope you all have a good time at you meet up. My children have their joint birthday party booked for that day but I hope someone manages to bring a camera :D

AMIE : I love celeb BB and Donnie seems a complete headcase. I think he is probably going to win as the characters usually do.

Have a good day all :)

Morning All - Hope we are well

Didn't sleep too well, so Im a a little tired. House at the back of us, kept their security light on, it was like trying to sleep amongst the Blackpool Illuminations. I first thought it was our light, so got OH to go down n switch it off. He turned the kitchen light on, blew the bulb, and the fuse box tripped a switch, then he stood in something slimey. Dog had coughed up phlem. So he had to fumble in the dark for the fuse box, then cleaned the mess up. When he eventually came back to bed - he said it wasn't our light. Lol, bless him

Not much planned for today other than work,

    Have a nice day all
    Catch you later
Take care & love as usual
