I am with Budget Keypad and just topped up £150 while current price still at 13.31p.

If you are a Budget Keypad customer I would advise topping up now whatever you can afford before price increase on 1st July

Even after price rise in July Budget will still be cheaper than Airtricity and PowerNI

Doubt they are that sophisticated :)

The way I look at it is I have bought electric at cheaper (current) tariff and will buy more Lecky when I need it and pay whatever tariff is currently in place.

Think they would have to come out to your home and physically put in new 40 digit code in your meter . Sill

Just got an email from BE with a PDF attachment advising my monthly DD will be increasing to £41 (from £35) due to the price rise.

    Anyone else get an email?
    Regards, Robin.

Yep, £38 to £44 for me, although I think I'm in credit so will be checking this and disputing if needs be.

Budget are a bunch of thieving so-and-so's.

At my last bill in April, I was £170 in credit with them; my DD since then based on a meter reading yesterday more than covered my usage, but yet they still say they only owe me a refund of £60!

If you phone them up, don't let them blind you with figures - insist on them sending you the exact calculations they used.

Our DD has increased form £42 to £49 but it was printed at the bottom of our most recent bill which we received this week.

you can use the 0800 buster number from a mobile, which will be included in your landline call allowance if you have a contract mobile. It will charge if you are using PAYG. Heres the website: http://www.0800buster.co.uk/
