Lets hope they do increase their payzones Hazel and its not just a fob off letter i really hope they come on here and read this thread as well a few of my friends are thinking off switching as well and i know airtricty has been door to door in north antrim so budet would need to keep their customers happy .
Exactly cherry. If they would come on here they would be able to gauge the amount of people who are having problems with the lack of payment outlets..perhaps they will come on.
I think that maybe they will play it by ear ie.by the amount of people who contact them to complain.

Looks like it is a fob off letter as despite their e-mail to me,they haven't updated their list at all as the shops in Donaghadee are still listed.Thankfully I've found a Payzone that I can call into over in Bangor on the way home from dropping my timesheets into Bangor campus on a Friday night, but that still doesn't negate that I cannot get a local top up less than £10...Bang goes the savings...
Shop 4 You 412 11 Bridge Street Donaghadee County Down
The Corner 1 New Street Donaghadee County Down
Hightrees Service Station 28 New Road Donaghadee County Down

Shop 4 You changed to Paypoint nearly 2 months ago,Hightrees closed down about 4 months ago BUT had their pre-pay facilities removed a good couple years before that & the Corner were forced to go Post Orrofice when they became a sub-post office over 3 years ago...so that shows you just how out of date Budget energy's list is!!!!!

Yes I agree with you on that cherry.I think its the only way they will sit up and take REAL notice.Although they say they are working with Payzone I think they need to see how far and wide the problem is so that they can cater to each town that needs more Payzone outlets. If people would email to tell them then thats the only way they can tell that its needed.

I did Hazel,I'll be following this up with an e-mail & phone call tommorow.Just had to drive over to Bangor to buy a £5 top up,only 6 miles but I shouldn't have to do that.Thankfully the filling station on the Donaghadee Road is still Payzone. (Ironically I passed it yesterday but didn't know it was a payzone..)

I can normally top up on-line but this week money is tight as the car tax is due tommorow...

I'll email them too. I have one shop local to me that I can top up in. I normally top up on a Monday morning which is well as they close at 6pm.

I think the fact that the Hendersons Spars and garage dont do it speaks volumes. Lets face it you can do just about everything else in those stores.

Its a disgrace that Spike is driving 6 miles for a topup in this day and age.
