Please note, TalkMobile Sim Only Contracts are not eligible for cashback.

It doesn't look like it now but that wasn't there two weeks ago.

According to the Top Cash Back website, Talkmobile do pay out on SIM only deals, however the £1 deal is not included.

Don't know if anyone covered this before I've tried to search on phone on this thread proving a little difficult
What about voicemail I've tried turning it off with luck? I assume there is a charge to listen to them if there is how can I turn it off?

This page on the talkmobile website
suggests voicemail calls are part of your inclusive minutes (scroll down and click on View all call charges).

As for turning it off, this page on the Carphone Warehouse site says call 1210 to de-activate.
  • Just seen that the £1 SIM only deal is available to order through Talkmobile online.

Thank you for let us know about this.
TBH, mobile phone network make a lot of money from Voice mail from both side, sender and receiver ....

An what is so bad is the default value is the voice mail is activated. Sneaky and unethical way to make money, in my opnion. Imagine a grandma who do not know about this got the network of this kind ....

I do not really see the benefit of Voice Mail Box nowadays as people could just send an email or text if the message is short ...

Could anyone tell me how to get my PAC code to transfer my number? I'm currently with T-Mobile.

    thanks
Before you criticise someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes.

We ordered a £1 per month sim online yesterday and yes, there was a credit check. It only took few minutes and the Sim and a 'Taste card' offer arrived this morning. It is ideal for my other half as he doesn't really make many calls, a pretty good deal all round in my opinion!

Was that a 12 month taste card or a 1 to 3 month one? Thanks

    Some help please here.

In past experience, networks do NOT allow you to port your old number to a new contract on the SAME network. (an unfair restrictive practice in my opinion)

Now, I am currently on an ASDA payg sim, which uses Voda as the backbone provider. So if I get one of these £1 talkmobile sims, also on Voda network, will I find they will refuse to port my old ASDA (voda) number?
The bankers stole my pension (and everyone else's). It should have earned a lot of money, but they took their bonus pot first.

No, I've ported from asda to their SIMple £5.11 before they ended it, it will be fine.

If you only want to end up paying 99p a month, you can get a redemption deal from E2save for Talkmobile with a phone + 200 mins, 200 texts and 1GB internet.
