I also want to know how to reset the counter call. If people could elaborate how to reset the counter, it will be great.

On your phone have a look for message log and calls log.

I've just rung customer service to lower my credit limit from £50 to £10 and there is a message to tell me the outstanding minutes/texts.

So no need for logs/counters, ring 5888 :D

Yes, I discovered that last night. Just ring 5888 for the balance. But I was also told that the month starts from 25th not 15th as somenone previously reported. Not that it matters to me. Perhaps it varies from person to person?

It could be different from person to person. My refresher clock restart on 23rd each month.

I found it the easiset way to check your balance is to go online.
Just go to the following website:
    http://www.talkmobile.co.uk/my-account/index.html

You will need your, mobile a/c number which is written on your monthly statement, butif you have not got your statement yet, just call their customer services on 5888 and they will tell you.

  • From what I read in these damned emails from "martin", the reporting on "deals" like this seem to be some sporadic excrement, followed by good forum users pointing out the small-print..

Ive lost faith in this site, its got too big and cluttered..

want a decent sim card? try uberlust dot eu and thats all I can say :P *waves*

LOL @ £1 a month SIM.. dont make me laugh!

    PEACE OOT!
    Only Linux make is possible!
  • Ordered one two days ago, arrived yesterday will set it up today... Its replacing my £6/month t-mobile also found by MorrisonsEmployee so thank you very much... This is exactly what this forum is for and a godsend for me :-)

By the way my pack in the post came with a free taste card too.
Almost debt free - except mortgage, personal loan, and two credit cards... oh yes and car! Nearly there

would there be a credit check for the £1 deal?

We ordered a £1 per month sim online yesterday and yes, there was a credit check. It only took few minutes and the Sim and a 'Taste card' offer arrived this morning. It is ideal for my other half as he doesn't really make many calls, a pretty good deal all round in my opinion!

There won't be any cashback as it's classed as a sim only deal, according to the Topcashback site. :(

Please note, TalkMobile Sim Only Contracts are not eligible for cashback.

It doesn't look like it now but that wasn't there two weeks ago.
