    Hi all

Well i've not updated for a couple of weeks, but i've been plodding on. Paid £980 off our debt toal this month, was hoping to do a bit more as £400 of this was savings so need to start doing a spending diary.

I can't wait till the end of the month as if DH gets his bonus we will be under £20k :T He keeps reminding his work that he is due this money, but they haven't confirmed it so hope they are not going to mess us around. Im itching to do a new snowball.

Was hoping to do a boot sale yesterday with all the junk cleared out of our spare room, but hubby was ill so hopefully we can earn a few pounds next weekend.

Have the councils insurers coming to inspect our property for our subsidence claim this week, its a huge relief we are getting near the end now and hopefully they will agree to do the work without too much of a fight. Still going to cost us a £1000 for the excess though unless we can get compensation from the council.

Food budget not too bad, should be able to stick to £280 by the 25th. I'm also starting to buy things in bulk if there is a really good offer on. Hubby thinks i'm mad as I have a over 1000 teabags in the cuboard.

Business is dead, but have an advert going in the paper weds so fingers crossed it will at least pay for itself.

Boring two weeks now as all payments have gone out and just have to make sure we don't go over whats left in the bank, which is not alot :)

    Happy debt busting everyone

    Hiya Zippy
Don't you just hate that bit of the month when you pay some of your debts off. You start on a high and then you get down coz you can't pay anything else off for another month!

I'm steady with work at the moment, i'd still like to be a bit busier so am doing some leaflets with a friend who also does treatments. I went on a course at Christies at the weekend about reflexology and cancer which was really interesting. I'd love to do more courses there.

Good luck with your advert on Wednesday, is that the one in the paper? Hope it goes well. How's the allergy testing going?

    xx

It's such a major psychological barrier to be down to the next £10k though I think. Men eh? Such simple creatures - everything so black and white!! :rotfl:

Have a lovely birthday, are you doing anything to celebrate?

Just got the computer back. Kids home from school is seriously suffering my MSE time :D

Thank you for your lovely replies :T really appreciate it, i've had such a lovely day, can't stop smiling. Who would have thought paying off debt could feel this good.

No plans really for my birthday, hubby is getting quite worried that I don't want anything, hes even offered to take me to lakeland and I can buy anyting I want and he won't say his usual "what the hell do you want that for!" :D

Really think we can get below £19k by the end of the month if nothing distracts me like shopping trips. I'm on a misson now.

Elanten business going really well thank goodness, I paid £300 for the advert and I got £950 of business so far, so just booked another one for the end of the week, a different paper and a bit cheaper £200, but in the past I used to get a good response from them. I've been so down about the business lately and ready to pack it in, its given me a boost to be busy.

Going to try to get my head around the matched betting when I get chance, I had no idea there was that much to be made, def worth taking the time to get to grips with it.

Thank you again :T and heres  to a good month for us all
