OK, so 4Gb a per month should be fine? :-)

Do you know what are the pre-discount prices were?

£24.99 if you have your calls with Talk Talk.
£26.99 if you don't have your calls with Talk Talk.

Expect to experience numerous DNS outages during each day, and very slow speeds often, if you don't mind the internet griding to a halt fairly often, then I'm sure Talk Talk broadband will be fine.
It's PAC not PAC Code, it's MAC not MAC Code, it's PIN not PIN Number, it's ATM not ATM Machine, it's LCD not LCD Display, it's DVD not DVD disc... It's no one not noone, It's a lot not alot, It's got not gotten... Panini is the plural of panino - there is no S!!

I'm glad I am rid of their broadband, their phone service is fine, except the change to 06:00 for daytime calls, though my friends and family are on Talk Talk too, so that is not a problem, for other calls, I use 1899 / 18866.

I have been trying to get my current ISP, Freedom2Surf to switch me over to 2Mbit for free (though I have not been with them more than 12 months yet) but there are having none of it. I've said that I would like to stay with them but see other ISPs offering 2Mbit for the cheaper prices. But they are not moving, they said it's bad economics but how is this? If they don't upgrade me then I move (and take my parents who use F2S with me) to another ISP and they lose customers.

    Oh hum.

carphone warehouse has an offer instore only, of £15 month 1mb broadband unlimited downloads and free evening and weekend calls. This is for as long as you are with them.
You have to ask instore about it as its not advertised instore yet.
I signed up today but i dont know what their service is like!
Those of you who signed up for the 1mb £14.99 Broadband service in March check your bills!
They sent me mine today and tried to charge £26.99 a month!
That is the current price without talk one(landline) which I have anyway.I applied on 31/03.Once I got through to the right person they admitted thier error.
  • I got my TalkTalk Broadband bill yesterday as well and it was correct. It worked out at £14.99 for a month as per their March offer. I've been online with TalkTalk Broadband now for about 3 weeks and so far am happy with the service. I'm a relatively heavy user and have not (yet) experienced any significant problems. Just to put it into perspective, in the same period my new laptop has crashed 3 times thanks to the wonderful XP operating system. So, thumbs up for TalkTalk BB from me.

been with talktalk bb for several weeks now and over the last few days i have noticed that they seem to have totally restricted my use of P2P. i can surf real fast and download from web sites at great speed but P2P will no longer work. this is a real bummer and will eventually lead me to leave the service as its not what i expected. beware if you are thinking of joining and talk talk and when i ask them if they are restricting me they have the nerve to deny it.......will keep on bugging them to see if they will lift the toal restriction.

It is in thier T&C that they restrict P2P during peak hours.
