Hi
I ordered 2 toys that were £24.99 each but buy one get one half price and then with all the codes they were £10.48 (bargain) I was going to give these to 2 people i know but 1 already has something similar and does not want it now, the other person does. So do you think i could take it into the local mothercare store and get something else, or even a gift card etc. How would this work with all the discounts etc. I suppose i could always ebay it, but just wanted to know if you thought they would take it back instore. ThanksMake the most of your days, enjoy your life.0 -
Logie - it means that at point of despatch you weren't charged, they will take the money later, think they have 3 months to take the money.
iloveboots, you can get a refund if you take in your receipt but your receipt will show you paid £10.48 for two so you would be refunded £5.24. You could ebay it but there will likely be hundreds on ebay as I think many had the same idea.Comping wishlist for 2017

Well I was still waiting for the dispatch email so I just phoned them there and they are out of stock (Pampers Active Fit Size 5) the CS lady said her screen was showing as minus 58, presumed that means lots of people without orders. And they have no date of when they are coming back into stock. She said that if they don't come back into stock within 4 weeks then the order will be cancelled, which is kinda crappy. I'm thinking I'll phone again before that time is up though if they don't come back into stock to see if they will honour the price. I'll not hold my breath though and I'm now off to buy some nappy as we've just about run out =(...those who mind don't matter, and those who matter don't mind.

I took one item back to elc (which was inside the mothercare) and didnt have a receipt and they just put it on a refund card for me, so id go for the no receipt option or unwanted gift so you can get an exchange for something same price as worth before codes etc, its the same in principal its not like your getting cash back and more than you paid (that would be wrong)The art of being happy is to be satisfied with what you have

Thanks op, my order from Sunday has arrived today!
Only trouble is I ordered 3 x Pampers +3 x Huggies in size 3 as didn't know I could mix n match different sizes, doh! I bet they wouldn't let me swap instore at the same price?lizziebell*80 wrote: »Phone CS and ask them.
I bought size 4 pampers, 6 boxes of them, opened one box and while using the nappies have had quite a few leaks so I reckoned I should have got size 5- phoned CS and the lady was like, no bother we can swap them. Boxes of size 5 were OOS but she said the smaller packs were in stock so she said I could have the equivalent of the 5 x big boxes (as I'd obviously used the 6th one) in multiples of the smaller packs.iloveboots wrote: »Hi

I was wondering if I could do this with the nappies but how would I be able to prove I got them from Mothercare without the receipt? Unless they are the only company to do them in a quantity of 192 per box? Also would I have to take all 3 boxes back?
Lizziebell, sorry for the delay in replying. As MC are out of stock (4-8 weeks probably) of size 4/5 it isn't really worth trying to swap them and get them for the discounted price.0 -

Just be weary of this there was a thread a while back on here about a lady who took something back to Boots without a reciept and was charged with fraud. Think its on the Boots bargains thread.0 -

I agree, I wouldn't dare walk into a store without a receipt or proof that I had bought the item as shops are coming down hard on refund fraud/theft. I read about that ladies experience and I have heard many stories similar. It's not worth getting a criminal record over for the sake of a few pennies.Comping wishlist for 2017

I went to collect goods below yesterday, I was very impressed when lady at Mothercare helped me out to car with large box of nappies, she said I had a good bargain but they were going to stop the codes working now! Was even more impressed when got home and worked out they gave me 17 packs instead of 9! £110.00 worth of nappies for £20.18
Lucky I opted for the next size up nappies for my little boy
